There are campsites, beaches, clean and well maintained bathrooms. The prices are nice, and there are plenty of sites around the year. The beaches are quite nice, and offer free mooring. There is an abundance of fish nearby, despite the fact that many people fish there. The water near the beach has some weeds, and the water is a little murky, but the lake itself is quite clear. Great fire weekend trips.

I enjoyed my waterfront site because we could sunbath on a large rock at the waterfront. The site was small but made up for by basically having our own private beach. This also offered convenient access for our canoe. The site was private with lots of trees. The lake is relatively calm which makes canoeing easy, but if you venture further into the more open center of the lake it can get wavy and difficult to paddle. However the lake is large enough that you can canoe quite a long distance before encountering this problem. Theres a beautiful small island we enjoyed canoeing to and if you have a boat and dont enjoy crowds this is a nice alternative for the small swimming area. There is a lot of seaweed so best to swim in the deep areas or in the man made swimming areas. These areas are small though. I found this park to be quiet and peaceful. One big downside was that there was only 2 shower stalls near our site and the bathroom was quite dirty. There are few actual bathrooms and more outhouses. I also wish there were more walking trails since it is such a beautiful area. I would probably visit again if I could get a waterfront site

Wow, what a beautiful park! It's a perfect size to traverse by bicycle and has tons to do. We camped beside the walking trail, which was quite a challenge with the rocky and uneven terrain but also provided some incredible views of smaller lakes (large ponds) back in the woods, and had a great experience. The facilities close to us were well maintained and all park staff that we met were friendly and very knowledgeable. We also rented a canoe, which was quick and easy, and spent two hours on the lake with it! It was so much fun and the views were breathtaking! All in all, this was one of the best provincial park experiences that I have ever had.

The sites are fairly spaced apart and are natural enough to feel like you're camping in the woods. The lake is good and plenty big enough for boating and fishing. Lake is clean and good for swimming. The facilities are fairly clean and reliable. A couple outhouses..and are well....outhouses and smell like they should. I'd go back again.
