I'm very glad I paid this place a visit and I'm absolutely positive about my future visits here. A huge place with several secluded spots with open skies to admire the starry night.
The only disturbances will be fellow humans who are sometimes loud and I was a bit disappointed to see people burst fireworks in a dark sky preserve. I hope that's just a one day thing (Victoria Day).
Check the weather so you take sufficient clothing and accessories to keep yourself warm.
Limited parking at the site but you can park in the space next to the road.
There is a one person public toilet at the site.
Forget everything. Relax and take in the beauty with awe and admiration for we are nothing but curious start stuff!

Great place to watch the night sky. Make sure you prepare yourself properly before going here.
In spring, fall and winters, it gets very cold and rest rooms are not an easy access.
But the ski here is clear and makes for a close enough drive from to Toronto.
You can park all along the roads near the observation area. It gets very crowded when there are chaces to see some northern lights. So make sure you get there early to pick a good spot is you are into photography.

I love this place but it was crowded during my last visit. I like to remind all visitors to respect the environment and quiet atmosphere. Do not pollute the place with your sound, light and waste.

Amazing place. People camping there should be more considerate though, about the fact that it's a dark sky reserve. Keep the lights off people!

Ive only been here once in the winter. There are three trails here. The pine ridge trail which is currently closed because of a sketchy bridge. It is a 5.6 km trail. The short loop is 4.3 km and the extension trail is 6.4 km. All the loops are very easy to follow in the summer (white blazers) in the winter I took a few wrong turns.
