Day Tripper Departure - Georgian Bay Islands National Park

A great day on Beausoleil Island facilitated by an enjoyable ferry ride there and back. Like anywhere in this world, when you stop and pause to chat to the team about to help you, you tend to find interesting and engaged team members. This was the case with the entire team here. They were chatty and engaging and my wife and I had a great day hiking on the island. They were on time and very pleasant to deal with. The island was a great place to visit. We chose the Northern end of the island to visit and there were no crowds and we got to experience the beauty of the island on Georgian Bay. Bring food and water and then simply enjoy the setting. Pack a wind breaker or rain jacket, but plan on a very pleasant day. Thanks to the team for facilitating this!

A very nice experience especially when organizing my one day hiking visit to Beausoleil Island by boat. The boat rides are limited with only 4 hour visit but considerably less expensive (1/4) than a water taxi and parking included. I wanted to have more time so I was able to pay for their service but take a water taxi to the island and return by day tripper. They were very friendly and open thus allowing me to park early in the morning on a grassed area from which I then took a another companies water taxi to the north. After hiking the north area I walked to the south port where I then returned by day tripper. This gave me 6 hours of time. They need to expand on both the time of visit and frequency to the island.

We just came back from a 4 day trip to the Island and even though our stay there was very pleasant, I would like to raise awareness pertaining to property damage when visitors' belongings are being transferred in a cargo boat. Before departing we signed a waver apparently, as no one gave us a copy, that no one carries responsibility for damaged things. As our belongings were unloaded, my Thermos with hot water was thrown and shattered as a result. If the staff is incompetent then people should be allowed to unload their own stuff. Even with a toddler in hand, I would agree to do that, if that would guarantee the safety of my things. Afterward, we were told that if something was fragile, then we should have taken it with us to the ferry boat, but no one mentioned this as the things were loaded unto the boat. And either way, everything was secured properly, but the stuff member THREW my Thermos, which resulted in damage.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The day trip is very limited so if you need to book ahead of time.
