So about a week ago I went to visit Jackson WY. My main reason was for the visit was to see the world famous “Cowboy Bar” and the “Silver Dollar Bar” The Cowboy Bar was very beautiful exceeded my expectations, but one big disappointed was that if the bartender don`t think you cool they pay you no attention. The doorman there was two of them had so much attitude it was unreal. When we walked out and greeted him he did not greet back and just frowned at us. The bar is beautiful but I felt so unwelcome that I decided to leave after one beer. Me and my dad went to the Silver Dollar Bar. We got there and was the complete totally opposite. The bar lady was extremely sufficient, very friendly run a tab without even asking a credit card or ask anything. It was such a nice warm atmosphere we decided to eat something. If I am ever in Jackson again I will defiantly visit the Silver Dollar Bar again and probably the only one. There food was outstanding. Love the bar and the staff. The Cowboy bar will never ever see me again I feel way to uncomfortable with the staff and there attitude. I use to be a flaring cocktail bartender from 1998 to 2006. Did flame shows and everything and the attitude of the Cowboy Bar would not fly in my bar.

My wife and I had a great time here. The menu has changed but it's still really good. My steak was excellent and cooked perfectly. Our server was a little hyper and overly rehearsed which was a little awkward but it was a really good experience and I'd recommend it.

my husband and I were visiting Jackson Hole and stopped in to eat at this restaurant. We ordered corn chowder and chili, it was very good. We also ordered a Porterhouse steak and Steelhead entrees, both at over $30 for each but, they were offering BOGO that night. The steak was not cooked well and looked more like pork, the fish was dry. It was not busy, and although the hostess refilled our water and the cook staff brought out our order, the waiter brought our ticket and had added an 18% gratuity for the two of us. He let us know that "he wanted to be up front about this" although the menu stated that it was automatically charged for a party of 5 or more. We said nothing BUT my husband always tips at least 25%, so we left with our change. We will not be back.

Fantastic traditional breakfast of crispy bacon, over medium eggs and a fluffy but thin pancake with real maple syrup! I love the traditional feel of the place that makes it a wonderful start to the day. Great setting and reasonable prices.

Disappointing unfortunately. We visited Jackson during Thanksgiving holiday and Silver Dollar was I think one of two open places in the town. Looked thru the menu I found fantastic sounding dinner entrée: Smoked Pork Belly and Cheddar Brisket Burger. This sounded like something I would enjoy very, very much. Well, it fell very short and unfortunately I was very disappointed with the quality of this burger. Seeing the Pork Belly as an ingredient I thought this burger will be fat, juicy, full of flavor and yummy. What I got was hard, dry and falling apart burger with little to no taste, nothing to my expectation. There was no smoky flavor to it, I did not see or taste any cheddar either. I did not get the tomato or onion on it either. When I was paying for it I noticed on the check it was listed as House Burger. I asked the hostess if this was the Smoked Pork Belly and Cheddar Brisket Burger; her reply was: I believe so! Well after eating it I don’t think I got what I ordered as it did not taste like it, I sure paid for it thus.
