Story

Inspired by bakeries in France and beyond, Persephone Bakery Boulangerie and Cafe remains rooted in Wyoming, a local orientation expressed in our breakfast and lunch menus’ focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The cafe carries a core collection of classic artisanal breads as well as a spectrum of sweets, from French croissants and kouing aman to cupcakes and tarts. To complement our creations, Persephone proudly carries Chicago-based artisanal roaster Intelligentsia Coffee. Housemade flavor syrups and European hot chocolate round out the barista bounty.

Super trendy breakfast place, the coffee and pastries were SO GOOD PEOPLE. SO. GOOD. It was freezing cold and nowhere to sit inside but they have fireplace heater things outside so it wasn't bad to sit outside. Also, at some places it can be a bit hard to decide what you want right away especially if you're an out-of-towner but these people were so patient and didn't show if they were irritated at all which is so nice. They were a bit expensive but it is worth every penny

I really wanted to love this place. The story of the founders, a husband and wife team is inspiring. It has a beautiful instagram-worthy shop stocked with the cutest things. Their white and blue packaging is so chic and they have four different croissant types. 
The service and quality of food leave a lot to be desired. The croissant was moist and tasted buttery but the consistency was more like bread. A well made croissant dough will look like layers and layers of thin sheets on top of each other. Check out Dominique Ansel's pastries, now that's perfect.
The tables were all dirty or wet and no one cared to wipe them for us.

Fabulous quiche, perfect consistency loaded with savory flavor... So much so, we got two more slices for the long trip back home. Don't forget to try their latte, a perfect chaser to the chocolate chip cookie (also an A+). Service was great; be sure to ask them what their personal favorites are for the day.

Note, seating is sketchy as it is very busy. Be prepared to sit outside (may not accomodate elderly visitors who can't wait standing).

Great coffee shop. Best I've been to in a long time. Great inside and outside seating. Decor is great. Food looked amazing and coffee was great.

Such tasty pastries and bread, and the coffee is wonderful. Our sandwich was ok, not phenomenal but we only tried the chicken sandwich - there are others that could be better. Would definitely recommend. Great atmosphere.
