My favorite Thai restaurant, hands down. Super friendly staff and amazing food. We lived in Los Angeles for quite a few years and Siam Square is the closest thing that Michigan has to offer that resembles California Thai- in my opinion, of course.
The food is always fresh, bright, and full of flavor. They are not afraid of spice and they always make my food to order. Love love love them!!

"Unassuming" wrote another reviewer! I need to expand more on this as it is very rare to find a jewel in such an environment. Located at the interchange of Washtenaw and 23, aside from the shiny new retail malls, Siam Square is hidden (as in you have to actually search for it), sharing a building with a $49/night hotel... On my first attempt, I drove on the parking lot and assumed this had closed or was the wrong location. I tried again and as I pushed the door, I stepped into a wonderful atmosphere surrounded by wooden elephants, cozy private booths, and exceptional food. Facing the competition of Blaze Pizza, Olga's kitchen, the Noodle Co. nearby, this restaurant offers delicate flavors, tasty broths, and friendly smiles. Please try it and tell me about your experience, as there is no better feeling than finding a treasure and sharing:)

I love Siam Square... not just because it's literally around the corner from my house. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, plus the portions are large so I always have leftovers! Don't let the setting in the dingy, rundown Victory Inn scare you off - or color your experience of the restaurant. It's a calm, relaxing environment for lunch or dinner.

Don't let the hotel it's inside fool you, this restaurant is top notch! Loved it. Great food, good heat. Loved the Larb and Spicy Basil Shrimp.

Read past the intro here...
So the building this business is in is shared with a one-off dated motel. This plus the exterior ambiance right at a major highway on-ramp and behind a gas station made me not come here for years. Now I'm sorry I judged the book by its cover.
The service was friendly. The interior decorator charming. The booths quite cozy and charming. The food is good. Not a huge fan of their Pad Thai noodles, but the soups, curries, stir fries are quite good. Give it a try...I bet you'll come back.
