Siam

A friend told me about this restaurant. My expectations may be a little high. (Been to thailand) Disappointed because it does not taste Thai enough. Good imitation Thai. The price tag is for the location and the decor. The food is not bad. But just not what I hope for. The sticky rice is too dry. The Tom yum tastes too much like a soup made from a bottle of Tom yum paste. The pad Thai tastes just like a regular Asian stir fry without the zestiness. I don't even think they put tamarind in there. The service was good though. Skip if you are a real Thai amateur. But go for it if you are looking for general Asian cuisine.

Service very slow. The appetizers were good but the main course was not good at all. The waiter even forgot our main dish.... people who got here after us had been served before us! Not a 4 star at all

Very spicy and rich curry, the kind that jaust warms the heart. Will come back.

Very good food, excellent service made this a very good first experience at Siam. Would go back again for sure.
