Shoppers Drug Mart

Dr appt at 9am faxed prescription then. Went at 3 to pick up, not ready. Told to come back after 5 or tomorrow after 2. Went the next day at 2, she called me over to say they do not have those pills!!! Asked if they knew that yesterday, she looked confused by that question. Finally got the prescription, will never go back here again for the pharmacy.

Horrible. One of the pharmacists mistakingly gave only half my supply of medication for 3 months I was under the impression I was going to be able to refill when I run out as I usually do. When I tried to call to get more medication I was told that I couldn't because the system said I got the correct amount, a.k.a they're right and I was wrong even though that's not the case. I would understand if the medication was a narcotic, but it's not even close to one. So now because of a simple mistake caused by a worker, I have to suffer through withdrawals. Plus, the lady over the phone was quite rude and short with me. Finally, the waiting times over the phone are ridiculous. Do not use the pharmacy here.

Good god when is the owner actually going to do something about the phone wait times for the pharmacy? I see the owner commenting on every negative review “thanking” us for our honesty and that they value our opinions, but this is clearly not the case. Without exaggerating, it would be quicker to drive across the city, walk into the pharmacy to get the help you need, and then drive home then it would be to call and actually speak to a person in the pharmacy. Ludicrous if you ask mennEDIT: I am changing my review to 3-stars since the call wait times have been vastly improved upon since I left this review. Perhaps some positive changes have been put into effect at this pharmacy! Very pleased with this

Went here for electronics. Nicely greeted on the way in. Quite a big store.nnElectronics section is fairly decent sized. Had a couple of TVs on display, a sound bar, Bluetooth outdoor speakers, printers, bread maker, lots of Nintendo switch games/accessories.nnGlad to see Shoppers putting electronics on display rather than “keeping them in the back” - all the shoppers should be doing this.

My doctor moved over a year ago. I told this pharmacy as such. I even asked them to check the fax number they have on file. The lady at the counter said yes it’s up to to date even though I did not even see her bother looking up my file. The result…I have now have to call them once again to update the fax number. As others have said, they do not bother answering the phone most of the time, they will just immediately put you on hold. My advice to you is to go elsewhere unless you dont’t want your refills on time and you love the aggravation of having to call and being put on hold everytime.. If so, this place is for you.
