Shoppers Drug Mart

I have been dealing this this pharmacy for over 10 years. It's funny how it takes one bad experience to ruin what was otherwise a good run.. Mistakes happen, its only human we can forgive them but its hard to forgive when they can't take ownership for thier staff's mistakes.

24/7. This is fantastic, especially when you have a feverish 2year old. Very nice staff, pharmacist are knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of variety for cosmetics and first aid. Large grocery department. If you order a prescription online or by phone, make sure to confirm it is ready before going over.

Three stars for insanely long line-ups. Yeah you can get some groceries there and it's open 24 hours, which is super convenient with the location. That's the 3 stars, But it seems maybe like it could be managed better?. The photo booth rep gave me a hard time to print out some pictures of mine, which was not a simple process at all. Then, the print machine messed up some pictures, running the Ink, so it clearly needs to be replaced or fixed, and the rep had to redo them a couple of times. Overall, good spot, but I unfortunately avoid it if at all possible simply because of the 20 minutes of hell waiting in line.

Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Shelves are always well stocked.

This is the only 24 HOUR shoppers in Orleans so SAVE IT to your PLACES or MAPS in case of emergencies. The next available pharmacy/convenience/one-stop-shopping would be in the west end by Merivale and Carling.
