0 starnThe pharmacist called me at 4:50pm. We talked extensively about my pain and the prescription. When I got to the pharmacy I was told I cannot have it until the pharmacist talks to me. I explained we talked already. The assistant said the pharmacist has to check it.nPharmacist talked for 1/2 hr explaining to a new Canadian client what vaccinations are free to them.nI was told my pain med prescription would be ready 4:30-5:00pm. I got there at 5:15 and asked 3 times to have my prescription and leave because I was in pain.nI had to wait until she was done explaining to someone what they can get for free. Very disappointing service. Now I remember why I prefer Ideal Pharmacy.

I recently visited the Shoppers Drug Mart on Marine Drive and had an exceptional experience! The store is well-organized and clean, making it easy to find everything I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist me with my questions and ensure I found the right products.nnThe pharmacy team was professional and efficient, providing excellent advice and service. I was particularly impressed with their knowledge and willingness to help. The checkout process was smooth and quick, and I appreciated the wide range of products available, from health and beauty to groceries.nnOverall, this Shoppers Drug Mart location offers outstanding customer service and a pleasant shopping experience. Highly recommend!

Every single interaction I’ve had here with any department deserves a 0/5. They’re bad at everything. If you need to speak with anyone, including anyone outside the pharmacy, it’s a 15min+ hold. Pharmacy has failed to receive my prescription directly from my doctor’s office every single time. They claim doctors never left voicemails even though the doctor has. And the only reason it was a voicemail to begin with is because the pharmacy never picks up the phone - even the doctor line. Photos? Don’t bother. You can ask the same question to different staff and they’d all give you a different answer. I’d only ever go to this Shoppers as the store of last resort if every single other option was closed. They don’t deserve your time or money.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. The staff are incompetent, lazy, rude, and discriminatory.nnThis pharmacy has denied me access to reproductive healthcare. When trying to renew my birth control prescription a medication I’ve taken for years with no issue, it was first “lost in the system”, then could not be renewed due to “no pharmacist on duty”. Most frustratingly, on my third attempt, I returned at the time previously arranged with the pharmacy staff, but the pharmacist refused to help me due to being “too busy”, despite being the only patient in the pharmacy, and was sent home with no resolution.nnIn addition, this pharmacy has lost my prescription on two other occasions.nnOut of laziness, they refused to submit a medication to my extended health benefits plan as “most plans don’t cover the medication”, despite my insistence that my plan fully covers it. I had to go to another pharmacy, who filled the medication with no issue after being fully covered by my plan.nnIf I was this bad at my job I would not have a job. I have since found a new pharmacy whose staff are much more respectful, helpful, and competent.

I’ve been there more than four times. One of the pharmacists, a woman with glasses, is super nice.nnHowever, another pharmacist, an Asian woman is extremely rude. I don’t want to go there anymore because of her.nnI asked her which kind of medicine I should buy and she said SHE DOESN’T KNOW. And keep said to me ask to doctor. She’s a pharmacist! She said she didn’t learn about how to deal with burns. She needs to learn more or improve her customer service skills.nnShe didn’t answer any of my questions about medicine or help the customers at all. I wonder how she’s even working there as a pharmacist.
