Shoppers Drug Mart

I had to wait for 20 minutes to receive quick advice on choosing a lip balm. The lady who assisted me was initially helping one customer select a product and check out, then attended to another person for checkout, despite knowing I was waiting. Eventually, I had to wait a few more minutes while she finished talking with her husband who visited her in store. During busy times like Friday evenings, could there be two employees at the skincare section?

We had very good experience in this store. We got help from staffs. They are friendly. Store is medium size but neat and clean. All items are very organized and displayed with levels. Pharmacist helped us to find drugs that we were looking for. Price is similar to other Shoppers Drug Mart’s. Parking is a challenge for this location.

The manager is very rude!nHere is my story:nnHere’s a revised version of your review:nnI had a disappointing experience with a pharmacy manager at Shoppers Drug Mart. My father had a prescription that I initially took to London Drugs. They were able to provide a partial fill but informed me that they were out of stock across all their locations. So, I decided to try Shoppers Drug Mart and called ahead to confirm if they could fill the prescription. The staff member I spoke with assured me they could and said I’d be notified once it was ready.nnAbout an hour later, however, I received a call from the pharmacy manager who questioned why I wanted to transfer the prescription to Shoppers. I explained that London Drugs was out of stock, but he responded with, “I don’t think they’re out of stock!” I was genuinely taken aback. Not only was his question unprofessional, but it also implied I was being dishonest—something completely unwarranted. I suggested he could confirm with London Drugs if he had any doubts, but I no longer felt comfortable dealing with him, so I asked him to cancel the prescription fill and transferred it to Save-On-Foods instead.nnThis experience left me disappointed with Shoppers’ service, as I didn’t expect such questioning or judgment over a simple prescription transfer request.nI had a couple of similar experiences in this place.

I always have a good experience at this store. Pharmacists, and ALL staff are always helpful and friendly. It's nice to be greeted by a store associate as you walk in the main doors. Easy to get Scripts filled in a timely manner, and the Pharmacists are knowledgeable, and can always point you in the direction of what you are looking for.
