Nestled on six acres, Anacortes Ship Harbor Inn is built on a wooded hillside amidst towering cedars and mature firs, insulating it from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. By day, deer and rabbit roam the property, to the delight and surprise of many a guest. By night, twinkling lights from the ferry reflect upon the water to the subdued sounds of the nearby foghorn.

Hop in the car and you are just minutes away from Old Town Anacortes, where you will enjoy a unique shopping opportunity, as well as several other favorite restaurants.

The Inn offers 28 comfortably appointed guest rooms, each with a dazzling view of Guemes Channel and the surrounding San Juan Islands. The spacious rooms, which are stylishly decorated in soothing blues and greens, are complete with plush pillow-top queen- or king-sized beds. A complimentary expanded continental breakfast with waffles and fresh fruit awaits you in the lobby from 7-10am daily.

The positives:  The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful with directions & restaurant choices.  Our room had direct access to the lawn in back,  which was very convenient for our small dog.  The location was pretty.

Could use improvements:  Our back patio light shown in our room all night which made it seem like we were sleeping with a light on.  The free breakfast did not include any meat choices, scrambled eggs, as you would expect with the price of the room.

Overall, we would recommend staying here.

Nice room layout with great view and good breakfast
Loved the room layout for two adults and a teenager. We had two queen beds with a bathroom in the middle and sliding doors to close each off. More hotels should have this layout option. The doors between the room added privacy, and we let our goddaughter stay in the room overlooking the water since it was her first time in PNW. Upper balcony side is nice with good airflow. Room on parking lot side very warm with no airflow unless window open which was very loud in morning when folks were packing their cars and checking out at all hours to make ferries. Also, walls seemed a bit thin when neighbors came home late at night. Good thing we had an upper end unit (recommended). Breakfast was good and front desk quickly accommodated need for some breakfast refills. Asked for a late check-out which was denied because cleaning crew may miss a room if folks aren't all out at same time.

The views are amazing for most rooms. Room was small but very clean and cozy. It's proximity to the ferry dock makes it a great choice for a island day trips.

Nice, clean, quiet, old world motel, right on the harbor what're the ferry docks. The room was very clean and the amenities were adequate if nothing extraordinary. The staff was courteous and helpful. For the price, this is really a good deal. I would stay here again, and recommend it to others.

Stayed in the king room with balcony and fireplace.  It was great, had a dual shower and kitchen with pots and pans.  Large room, also felt very private.
