This is a ver charming hotel in the heart of their historic downtown. The room was clean and charming. It had a small TV with basic cable, fireplace, jetted tub, & a kitchen small fridge. The windows were covered with blinds so the room we had near the south side of the hotel had lights from the parking lot shine through all night. There was a cute fireplace and we chose a room with a jetted tub which was relaxing. The room was little overpriced when considering location, and very basic amenities. Other than that it was a nice place to unwind.
The hotel was clean and charming. We had a lovely view of the channel. I especially LOVED the pianist from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. I was disappointed with the customer service. Please teach your staff about the importance of client experience. Their book can wait. Our experience was diminished because of this.
Always a pleasure when visiting La Conner Channel Lodge. We had the King Jacuzzi with a Channel View. The fireplace and sitting area was so comfy. The jacuzzi tub fit both me and my husband 6' 2". It was a little snug, but the option was nice. I definitely recommend staying here during a visit to La Conner.Rooms: 5/5
Loud. This spot could be so nice with a noise containment upgrade. I’m currently listening to my upstairs neighbors soothe their infant, and my next-door neighbors talk and cough. The doors pull themselves shut with a slam. Bring your own pillow, the ones they give you are so soft that they compress to nothing in the night. Our first night, the scent of perfume in the room was so strong that my eyes were watering and my throat was scratchy. Luckily they provide a fan so we were able to air it out. All the trappings and price of a luxury hotel, but you know what all your neighbors are up to at all hours. What a disappointment.
We finally stayed at the Channel Lodge after years of wondering. We loved it! The staff is helpful and nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable for a romantic weekend. The breakfast was nice; the staff worked hard to keep it stocked during breakfast. It is a great location, near everything. The view was great! We loved it. Spend the extra to get a channel-view. Worth it! Rooms: The rooms with a channel view are a must. We had a gas fireplace and a small deck. The room was comfortable and clean. Nearby activities: Hellman's is a wine tasting next door with 3 free pours and 10% off bottle purchases. Also, the dock for boat tours is near the hotel. Everything is close! Walkability: The entire town of La Conner is within walking distance. Food & drinks: The continental breakfast is quaint but good. Fruit, cereal, yogurt, bagels, toast, coffee and tea. Noteworthy details: They have a nice parking lot and you can park and walk everywhere!
I would advise travelers to stay anywhere but this hotel. My friend and I stayed recently in a 3rd floor room which cost $299.00 per night for my birthday getaway. The room was small and overcrowded with large furniture. A BIG problem was the internet connection being mostly nonexistent and my friend had children she needed to stay in touch with. The continental breakfast was very poor and the fruit was not whole but peeled and cut up, which is unhygienic even if COVID was no longer a concern. My friend asked for a cinnamon roll which had just been baked and was denied. We were later rudely told "they were for the next day." We left after only two days because I spoke to the manager, Jane, about the lack of internet connection for two whole days and our not being told about this problem which is apparently ongoing. I also casually mentioned the cinnamon roll incident whereupon Jane started shouting at me and cursing me. I was shocked at her unprofessional manner and told her so. She got even more vulgar and her counter staff witnessed this horrible incident. As a 76-year old woman, I felt very intimidated. We packed and left right away and could not wait to get out of that so-called hotel. My attorney has advised me to contact the owners or he will do so on my behalf. It took me a couple of days to recover. I have stayed at numerous hotels and no guest at any hotel should ever be treated like that by any staff member, much less a hotel manager.
This place is AMAZING! Clean, comfortable and super cute. Right on the water for a romantic feel, downtown location in walking distance of so many amazing restaurants and places to shop. Definitely will come back!Rooms: 5/5
Great place for a romantic getaway. The jacuzzi tub in the room was the reason for our stay. Only drawback was the shower didn't work. Breakfast could be better, but it is probably similar to other hotels.Rooms: 4/5
Great stay for one night. We booked a room without the water view because it was less money. The room was great and we didn't miss the view. The front desk is 24hr.Rooms: 5/5
Updated bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Cute little deck overlooking the channel. Professional staff. Decent breakfast.Rooms: 4/5
