Sheraton Burlington Hotel

It's a good thing the conference we're here for is good, because the hotel sure isn't. Our room wasn't ready for check-in until 7:45 pm, which is amazingly late. The next day, it wasn't cleaned until 6:15 pm, and they didn't clean the obviously dirty bathroom. If you don't have enough cleaning staff to get the job done, hire more. Can't find employees? Time to start paying higher wages. Instead, they're offering $5 food vouchers or 500 Sheraton points if you "go green" and forego having your room cleaned. Lots of hotels save money by encouraging guests to be environmentally aware and keep the same sheets from one day to the next. However, emptying the trash, vacuuming, making beds, and cleaning bathrooms is sort of the bare minimum expected of a hotel stay. Seriously unimpressed.

The customer service here is top notch. They have a nice indoor pool and fitness center. The rooms are updated and very clean. The beds are so comfortable and clean. They have a breakfast buffet that is pricey but very good. I would recommend staying at this location. It is close to down town Burlington.

All in all, this was a very nice hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable - room service was pleasant and the food was excellent. However, it was VERY easy to get lost in. We were given a map at the start of our visit and still got lost for about 20 minutes. One of the staff members pointed us in the right direction and after another 5 minutes wandering, we finally found our room. Check in and check out were easy and quick, but one of our room keys refused to work during the stay. Not horrible as there was only two of us, but still. I would visit again.

We stayed here and the room was fabulous and everything was clean. Unfortunately the property is under construction right now so everything was not as well put together as other Sheratons I have stayed at. The small bar downstairs was quaint and the staff was nice. The temperature in the bar was much warmer than the rest of the hotel though it was not crowded. We are SPG gold members and have a specific credit card to earn access into the lounge but had to visit the desk multiple times for the upgrades we received. Overall it was a pleasant stay but I was not amazed as I have previously been with this hotel chain.

I visitted the Sheraton Burlington the last two days while i was vending at and attending the local comic book convention. The convention was small but fun filled with costumed fans of all ages, the panels and guests were great and there was a festive atmosphere all weekend long. The hotel was large and beautiful. Beautiful high ceilings and a grand entrance for the convention goers. The rooms were clean and well furnished. Over all it was a great time in a beautiful building
