The owner fired employees because of some issues, and now it seems like 2 family members are working there...nnThe store actually has some really good prices on certain items, especially rhino pills which is a plus. That said, the location is kind of strange, feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. Not sure why someone would open a Shell here, but it is what it is.nnThe staff experience really depends on who you get. One chubby guy with glasses and has greasy hair and smells stinky and he is quite rude and doesn't even know how the POS system works, isn’t very friendly and wastes your time and very slow and has refused to sell me certain items, especially rhino pills, saying I keep buying them out, which gets frustrating.nnOn the other hand, there’s another employee with glasses who works on Saturdays that seems like a university student, is super chill, polite, and welcoming. He always says hello and tells you to have a nice day, and he honestly makes the experience way better. buying rhino pills and cigs from here, especially when he is working is super easy and amazing experience. He seems a bit low-energy sometimes and pissed off at something not you or me or any other customer, but still makes the effort to be kind and professional.nnOverall, it’s a decent place to get gas or grab a few things, just depends on who’s working that day. Just not that chubby dude, you can tell who is chubby or not, the chill university guy is the better one.

On the other hand, there’s another worker—seems like a student—who is super friendly, polite, and actually makes the experience better. Always says hello, thanks you, and wishes you a good day. Big difference in customer service depending on who’s working.nnOverall, it’s a decent place to grab gas, drinks, or snacks, but the vibe really depends on the staff that day.

Do not pump here especially if you need to pump higher than regular. Actual scammers. 91 is priced crazy high. Look at the comparison photo taken same day from the station near by. All the other stations around here are priced normally. This shell is the only one that’s priced so insanely. I can get 94 for significantly cheaper. I can even get 93 cheaper at a shell in Toronto.nnActually crazy.

I stopped at this Shell location around 3pm while travelling back home from a long trip. My partner paid for a full tank of gas and a few additional items inside.nnWhen I went in to use the restroom, the gentleman working told me I couldn’t use it unless I was a customer. I explained that we had just purchased a full tank of gas and extras and asked if that counted, or if he wanted me to buy something separately. After clarifying, he then allowed me to use the restroom.nnAlthough the situation was eventually resolved, it felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. As paying customers — especially after filling a full tank — it shouldn’t feel awkward to access basic facilities.nnAs a side note, the restroom itself was not in clean condition, which added to the overall disappointing experience.nnI hope management can ensure staff are clear on how to approach these situations and maintain the facilities so customers don’t leave feeling unwelcome.

Stopped on our way to Toronto as my toddler really needed to use the bathroom and it was the first place we found exiting the highway. They wouldn’t let us use the bathroom!!! Not my toddler, not anyone in the family, stating it is for customers only. Since when is a gas station facility for customers only?!? Reading the reviews I am definitely not the first person experiencing this so I don’t understand why this problem hasn’t been fixed yet!
