Foodland - Cobourg

Small but has everything you need. The butchers sausage is good but the flavourings are from a package. Gluten free sausage is available but only if they have it in the back because they mix up all products(gf and glutenous) in the cabinet. Produce section os small but generally of good quality.

I like smaller grocery stores over the supersized stores that sell everything because you can find the groceries that you need quickly. Bread and buns are cooked onsite...mmm good and fresh. Was known for it meat department in past with a dedicated 5 star butcher but I dont think they put so much emphasis on the meat department anymore. The meat selection is not what it used to be.

Friendly staff, easy to find everything we were looking for. Love the small town feel of Foodland.

Opened 24 hours, 7 Days a week. Also provide air miles points. AODA accessible. My only suggestion would be a small pharmacy section or at least some emergency items i.e. diapers, feminine hygiene, pain relief and cough and cold stuff. As there is no where in town to grab these items after 10pm.
