Shaheen Grocery & Bakery

Went to get packet soup mix and a couple of other things as my usual shop was out-of action due to the collapsed building. The man behind the counter was continually coughing. Even though there was a screen between us, he was touching all the food stuff made me feel so uncomfortable. Had to sanitize everything when I got home.

As a local living near Shaheen I totally recommend this supermarket! I have been shopping there for over 12 years and have loved the experience ever since. Their prices are incredibly cheaper than Sainsbury’s and staff are really helpful. Shop Shaheen!

Ideal place for your fruit and veg as well as other essentials. Also does parcel post and collect , very handy and with Paypoint too.

Boss had a variety of spirits and beers that are cheap and affordable and it’s super helpful that Shaheen’s open until 3am! Great shop for buying drinks for late night parties. Totally recommend Shaheen!

I don’t even write reviews but Shaheen Supermarket surprised me by their service and prices. I’ve only came here once for some coriander but the service and prices have made me think if I should shop there regularly.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I ordered a package here hubbox collection point and it was delivered on the exact date I told them. The woman refused to serve me in a mannerly order and was just too rude. They went looking for my package and said they couldn’t find it. I want in a couple days later with my Id/ collection barcode and she refused to scan the barcode and said this is a return barcode? Honestly so unprofessional. Another man served me and managed to find my package which was delivered on the day I told them it was written on the package. Honestly such a rude woman. Never ordering something here ever again.

Incredible range of spices and vegetables and herbs , and such great value for money . Staff were so helpful and guided me through the range of spices to help me select what I needed . Don’t use the major supermarkets , shop local

DO NOT DEPOSIT MONEY HERE. Went to deposit a large sum of money 300.00 out of 1000. Received a receipt of 300.00. Returned home and found they had taken 20.00 surplus so 320.00. The whole experience felt untrustworthy and my gut instinct knew something was wrong.

Very disappointed – been shopping there regularly for a long time. The people were nice and prices were always good – but this week, now demand has risen, they have put up their prices – some items by 200-300%! When asked about it, they just ignored the questions. I will not be shopping there in future. It is unkind to profiteer from the demand when many customers have lost their work and incomes.

Extremely poor customer service. Very rude staff.
