I am so mad with this place. When we were there everything was nice, but then we had an issue with our bill and they refused to work with us. (Note that they only offer the most expensive fillings available, and don't give options for anything else, so watch your insurance. Ours didn't cover the more expensive filling, and as this was my first cavities, I didn't even know there WERE options.). I had to pay $200 up front for the procedure, and then got a bill later for another $200, all because of the type of filling they used.
I asked my HR rep to look into it, and the only suggestion she had was to see if they would write it off since no choice was given, and no one mentioned the extra charge up front. They refused to work with us at all, though, so we won't be going back. Terrible customer service. It's a shame because up till now I really liked the place. Dentist and techs were all nice, but if they can't help out where it really counts, then it's not much of a "family" dentist. They were very upfront about the billing originally, too. They let me know "exactly" how much it would cost me with my insurance beforehand. But they just left out the other $200. How slimy, and underhanded! I feel cheated. So, I guess they'll get their $200, but it cost them what would have been two (working on three) lifetime customers. Bravo, Shadowlake Family Dentist. Way to fail at math and customer service.

Dr. Foix is awesome. Caring and ready to deliver great service. Love the TV in the chair. Best in Omaha soft touch.
