I did months of research before choosing a dentist. Looking at reviews, meeting with them and Dr. DeFord is great, her hygienist was great too. But her front desk, which is the patients first impression and one of the most important roles, is rude, to say the least. I went in my first visit and received a quote for the work I needed. When I came in for a second visit, she explained the quote was wrong and I'd owe significantly more than that. Which I agreed to pay. The third appointment I had to reschedule, shortly after that I received a check in the mail. When I called to ask about the check she treated me like I was stupid and bothering her for asking about it. She kept repeating "maybe I did my math wrong, but you got your money back so I don't know what you want me to do". After receiving 3 now, wrong quotes, you'd expect someone to have questions and she made me feel terrible for asking. I felt so disrespected, I will not go back. She also filed a cleaning with my insurance before the cleaning was completed, which by law, you cannot do and I now have to have my insurance deal with it because I am afraid to "bother her" with any more questions. I think it's extremely unprofessional to treat people so poorly, especially when you were the one who made the mistakes and confused the patient in the first place.

My experience every time I visit Dr. DeFord is the same, "Excellent". She is one of the most gentle, caring, personable and professional dentist I have ever seen. Her finish product is always perfect because she is a perfectionist. If you want a good experience at the dentist, please make an appointment with Dr. DeFord.

Office will not accept Medicaid on behalf of our seven adopted children. Why? I was informed that the they do not accept Medicaid "for personal reasons." I was also told the name of two places in the area that "might" accept children carrying Medicaid as their dental insurance. If our family dentist had not died, then our children would still be seeing him. He did not have "problems" with Medicaid paying for cleanings and sealing, as well as any fillings and pulled teeth. So, who suffers because Medicaid will not permit a dentist -and many others- to charge $200 for a filling? The children. The CHILDREN go without medical treatment for the love of money. This is pathetic.

Dr DeFord and her staff are always very friendly and professional. The services they offer are all quality service. No complaints here.

Simply put... Dr. DeFord does excellent work. Incorporating her caring and friendly personality along with her knowledge makes her a top choice. Dr. DeFord's staff reflect her professionalism and kindness, they also get 5 stars.
