I was initially quite skeptical after reading many negative reviews, but I’m happy to say my experience was a pleasant surprise.nnI visited to apply for a health card as a new immigrant. Even without an appointment, I was in and out within 20 minutes on a Friday afternoon. The place wasn’t crowded at all, and the process was smooth. A special thanks to Erica at the counter—she was kind, patient, and very helpful. I truly appreciated her support!

It was a fantastic experience. I was supposed to change my name on my driver's license and Ontario Helath Card, and it was just seven minutes in and out. I had so much negative feedback, and I was a little worried, to be honest, but then I realized that many people who put negative comments don’t have social and cultural competencies. This is lacking when we move to any new country, and it’s important to adopt it. There is some support available through IRCC if someone is interested in getting a diploma or certification to understand culture, local communication style, how to comprehend and articulate in a new country like Canada. However, I would still say that someone might have had a genuine negative experience. I don’t deny that not all five fingers are the same. You may have found someone at the counter who is rude to you or not explaining things in a proper way it may happen, but overall, the majority of the staff is friendly, and they’re very supportive. Great service at ServiceOntario! I went to deactivate my plates and update my driver’s license address — everything was done quickly and professionally. Staff were helpful and polite. Highly recommend! Great experience — thank you, ServiceOntario!

Respect their time, and respect your own. Book an appointment, and go online or call ahead to find out what docs you need, and have everything with you when you go. It's not that difficult.nI showed up on time for my appointment, checked in, was called up very quickly, had my documents ready. The agent asked what I needed, reviewed my docs to make sure everything was in order, and took care of the processing. I couldn't have asked for a smoother operation.

Absolutely terrible service. Even with a scheduled appointment, I had to wait over an hour because only one person was working at the entire branch. What’s the point of offering appointments if they can’t manage time or staff properly? Completely disorganized and frustrating experience. Avoid this location if you can.
