I went on a Thursday around 9pm. The place was about 10% full.nnIt’s $35 + tax to enter. Cash or debit card only. You get 2 hand towels. The co-ed area is one huge room with hard wooden seats, 1 projector that was showing a hockey game, 2 treadmills, 1 pool table that is $2 a play, 2 flat screen TVs that were off, a snack shop and eating area and an area leading to the sauna room. Snack shop had instant ramen of course, hard boiled eggs, and ice cream among other things. Free WiFi and water is also available.nnThe sauna room is also one big room that lead to 6 different sauna rooms: Elvan stone, Salt, Crystal, Jade, Loess and Germanium. The temperature ranges from 45-100 degrees Celsius and each have a security cam inside. There were plenty of mats and blocks available to use. In addition there is 1nIce room but it was just cool. It was not cold enough as not all of the wall froze over. The other Korean saunas I’ve been to had seatings except this one. This room was the only one without a cam.nnThe men’s locker room was big with access to several shower stalls, 1 cool tub not cold, 1 hot tub, 1 body scrub room and 1 steam room. I found it weird that the staff doing the body scrub would periodically look out the window into the shower and steam room area. It’s $55 for a body scrub for 30 minutes.nnThe front desk lady was nice and the entire place was fairly clean.
It's just like the kdramas! This is a simple, clean, sauna spa that we quite enjoyed. Went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was very quiet. Unfortunately, we only had a few hours to spare, but they're open 9AM-12AM, so $35 for the whole day is a great price. Their 50 degree room didn't smell funky like one of the reviews mentioned, thankfully. Just disappointed that we didn't get to have the gimbap since they said it started at 5PM there weren't any signs about it. The sweet rice drink was cold and nice to have after the sauna rooms. You also pay for any food at the end when you checkout. They provide a uniform and a small towel, so recommend bringing in slippers and a bigger towel for showering. You also get a bracelet tag for your locker. Overall good experience that we would come back to. It's cash/debit only as well and when we were there their ATM machine was down.
I heard of this place for many many years but was not sure what to expect until today.nnMy first visit to Seoul Zimzilbang today was very pleasant! With $35 only entrance fee, friendly service. I also enjoyed community hot bath, cold plunge, steam room, warm area to hangout with heated floor and hot sauna with different temp.nnMy friend had 30 min of $55 Korean scrubbing service if you know you know she said she was officially addicted and could not believe how soft her skin was after.nnI kinda don't want to advertise this place cause i like it less crowded. However I can tell you that I want to definitely go back!nnNext time I would probably pack a big bath towel, an eye mask for a nap, an empty water bottle, Korean facial mask, a shampoo and a conditioner. They have body wash available.
This is a good place to experience Korean style spa. Ample parking space. As someone who goes to Korea every year and experience first hand the spa culture in that country I can definitely recommend this place. If you're not comfortable being naked with other people, then this is not for you. The provided clothes are for the shared areas. Went there as soon as they open on Sunday. After reading multiple reviews, seeing the pros and cons here is my observation:nn1. While some complain about the lady at the front desk, my experience was positive. Although she is not the most friendly & bubbly type she is very respectful to me.n2. The front desk has all the info you needed for the spa fee plus any other service you want to avail. Entrance is $35+ tax which gives you access to all areasmassage and body scrub is extra $$n3. As for some people complaining about the small towel, it's a cultural thing. Koreans don't usually use the big towels but rather small almost hand towel size for everyday use which I do as well nowadays, it's more hygienic. You use the towel once for bathing and then use a new one the next day. I got 2 towels with the clothes they gave me plus another 2 after I finish my body scrub and massage.n4. Plenty of sauna rooms to choose from, raging from the cold room to one that is 110°C. I just wish the layout are all different. In Korea, there are rooms where you lay on a salt, apparently helps remove toxins in your body. But this was not the case here.n5. The body scrub was great, it's a must experience.n6. The cafeteria has plenty of food and snacks from bibimbap, kimbap and a wide selection of instant noodles. The sweet rice drink is a must try.nnAll in all it's very positive experience for me.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet spot to sweat your toxins out and heal your body, this is it! They have multiple sauna rooms with varying temperatures and interior composition Himalayan salts, rock etc, gender-segregated hot tubs and a cold room. Recommend a full body scrub after saunas - your skin will thank you. They give you uniforms and a locker. So the only thing you can bring is a bigger towel and some slippers for common areas.
