The sushi was good, you can bring your own alcohol! The problem is the service, way too slow. I don’t recommend the vegetables with peanut butter it’s gross.
Our server was nice but service was really slow. We got the big sushi boat and only one we liked were the white tuna and salmon. Everything else tasted pretty bad. They didn’t tell us what was on the boat so we just guessed as we all ate sushi many times before. Then we ate a little strip of something that looked like a kind of white fish and it was slimy with a crunch at the end. It was so gross I spit it out and had to wipe my tongue with a napkin. Turns out it was raw squid. We order a chicken udon stir fry hoping to eat something good but it was really sweet with little other flavor. It’s cool that it’s a byob but we won’t go back there again.
BYOB. Excellent Menu. Now that I have $7.50 from Rewards based from ONE visit, I will be back for more. The Menu with photos. I ordered the SALMON FANS SET for amusement that is met with excitement probably the only minty Perilla leaf I know that is served with sushi. It shows Chef's sophisticated taste and flavor. Perilla Leaf is not necessarily t.h.a.t expensive but, it's hard to find HMart. LARGE SASHIMI PLATTER is a better value when you order a side dish of sushi rice, b.u.t ... I can't eat raw fish that much as it's an acquired taste, not brought up with it. So, I happily settled with LARGE SUSHI PLATTER. Note, the spec of herb or sesame on sushi matters as it enhances flavor a bit. You may omit soy sauce if you wish as there is a wasabi dot in between rice and fish. Excellent thoughtful service.
Ordered delivery from here and it was great!! Fish was delicious and sizable, rolls were good and they had plenty of variety, and they packed it well. Will be adding this to the rotation!!
Whenever we're in the city the debate comes up for if we should come to Seadog for sushi since we love it so much. Great food that is fairly prices and Everytime we've been there the staff has been super friendly.
My boyfriend and I went for a quick bite and had a great dinner experience! The BYOB was awesome and they had tons of vegan/vegetarian options for me. Service was good, vegetable gyoza was delicious, and the plant based tuna was unique. We ordered the fresh wasabi too which was something we had never tried before. We will definitely be back!
Did the dine in and the delivery. Both times sushi were very good! Fresh and delicious. The two things I dislike are that there is really VERY little rice on sushi I love little rice but it’s really like super little and that there is not enough variety of rolls like no rolls with mango and sweet sauces, or poor choices for really spicy ones.
The veggie sushi options were adequate, but the taste wasn't anything to remember. The staff is really nice and the place is cute. The shitake mushroom roll was the best.
I hadn't been here in a while. A few years. I really disliked the fact that we had to order on our phones tbh. Using an app is a huge pain and took away from talk time. Also I didn't have service at the moment so I had to hunt for wifi. Anyway, the sushi was very good. Loved the cheesecake too.
service was amazing and prices are right. We ordered the midnight sundae specialty roll which was like nothing I’ve ever had at a sushi place. So imaginative and playful and the flavors just hit! Great neighborhood spot I’ll definitely be frequenting.Dine in: Yes
