Sai Cafe

Went with my friend for dinner and we absolutely loved it! Everything from the aesthetic, service and especially the food was phenomenal. By far the best sushi I've had in Chicago, we ordered the ahi poke appetizer and would very highly recommend it, it was one of the greatest dishes I've had in my entire life.

The food and vibe is excellent. The Gilled Black Cob and creamy scallop maki were too die for. The dirty martini was also great! The service was good but I felt a bit rushed. I guess that’s just Chicago!

sai cafe has the freshest sushi in all of chicago. you can come here knowing you’ll be served the best quality fish and other ingredients. tucked away on the corner of sheffield and armitage, it can be easy to miss, but definitely give this place a try. you simply cannot go wrong with anything on the menu UPDATE: still the best sushi I’ve had in chicago

By far my favorite restaurant in the entire world. The freshest fish in the city! I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu and my expectations have been exceeded every single time. I’ve been to Sai so many times that the staff recognizes us and knows our go-to order. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and truly make the experience so much better. I love this place so much. This should have a 5.0 star rating. Sai Cafe has the best sushi in all of Chicago. Best cut, freshest cut, and best portion. Whenever we go out for sushi in other cities we always compare it to Sai and there has only been 1 other to match, Billy's in Minneapolis. The owner and staff are so kind and attentive. I suggest to pull up and sit at the sushi bar with a Kirin Light, house sake, and an order or Salmon Gone Wild! Yum!

First thing that you notice when you walk in is that the restaurant is very very clean. Friendly staff and quick service. We ordered a couple of rolls and it was very delicious! If you are looking for high quality sushi you should definitely check this place out!

Solid sushi place, friendly staff, good sake list, great for takeout but if you stop in the hot items are obviously better in person. Decor is okay and bathroom water is way too hot, but it’s one of my favorite sushi places in the city.

Top sushi in Chicago: fresh, clean taste every time. We like to sit at the sushi bar and always ask questions. We feel welcomed like regulars and now know the best items on the menu. Always trust the chef! Have never had a bad experience, highly recommend.

Celebrated multiple birthdays at this wonderful restaurant. The service was amazing just as the flavor of the food. Fresh ingredients, clean facility, and warm atmosphere perfect for a relaxing meal. Lobster, scallops, salmon, and king crab ... Perfecto~
