Sea-Hi is back and better than ever. The food is identical to the incredible Sea Hi we all remember, the place is cleaner, and the equipment is newer. The new location hired back all the old workers even their delivery driver. If you've never had Sea Hi you must eat here. If you have then you'll be happier than ever. 10 stars.
We ordered chicken fried rice, General Tao chicken and chicken with mixed Chinese vegetables, the general Tao chicken came with broccoli. All of it tasted good, I'm happy they opened up again and they are not too far from home.
It was my first time eating Sea-Hi and it truly was great! We ordered a mix of dishes and they were all flavorful and fresh. We also loved their chicken sticks and plum sauce. The service was very friendly and efficient. Can't wait to go back and try more!
Very expensive and taste is nothing spectacular for the price. Ordered the Shanghai noodles. $15.95 + tax = $18 and got a small portion. Too expensive for $18. Better go to Congee Queen. Same price , better taste and way bigger portion!
Nostalgia had me in my feels. From the personal delivery, delicious meals and - yes - the plum sauce, it brought me back to shabbat at bubbies! Highly recommended placing an order!
I had a terrible experience with this restaurant, which is very unfortunate since the owner was boasting about his chef for 7 years while he was making my food. I ordered bbq pork for $15.45 and got COLD CHICKEN SLICES. I also ordered veggie fried rice with mixed vegetables on the side and it’s basically plain rice with some onion pieces at least throw in some carrots or something. When I saw it was COLD CHICKEN instead of BBQ PORK I went back to the restaurant and got there at 9:35pm they close at 10pm or so they say and it was CLOSED!! If you want to close at 9:30 then advertise that your restaurant closes at 9:30pm not 10pm. Such a disappointing experience for my first time ordering from there.
"Have it with the plum sauce" is what the owner, Larry suggested me when I was ordering the breaded shrimp; and that turned out to be a master stroke! I'm a picky eater and I have been guilty of returning dishes when the shrimp has a stink. However, I was pleasantly surprised to notice that the shrimp was well cleaned as it didn't have the typical shrimp smell. It is rare to find such fresh shrimp in Toronto these days. We tried the egg rolls with the spicy sauce and they did not disappoint. Pro tip: The Plum sauce goes well with this too. But what we enjoyed the most was their Chicken Chop suey. There were no noodles in it. Instead it had a healthy alternative-beansprouts! The dry noodles on the side complemented the beansprouts very well. The meat serving was generous too. While we didn't have too much company dining in, I noticed that the restaurant was more popular for deliveries and take outs. It is indeed a cozy place for a scrumptious Chinese meal and I hope to visit again sometime soon. Just for the record, I know Larry from the days before he started or should I say 'reinvigorated' Sea high.  The day I went there, I learned that the delivery driver had taken a leave of absence at the last minute and Larry had decided to fill in for him. That is the Larry that I know of! He has the grit and determination of a hockey goal keeper and he is taking Sea High to greater heights.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal from Sea-Hi. The food was hot, the portions were generous and my three kids were obsessed with it. The chicken fried noodle hit the spot for them and the ginger beef was very tasty. I would recommend Sea Hi to anyone looking for a tasty food experience. Thanks Sea Hi for making my Christmas Day Dinner one to remember. I think my family has found our new Christmas Day Dinner Tradition.
The best Chinese food in the area, hands down! We regularly get the sesame chicken a definite must try! and tonight we decided to also try the orange chicken yum!. Their soups are delicious and don’t forget their famous plum sauce! Highly recommend you give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!
Amazing experience! My family orders here once every couple weeks. The food is always fresh, ready on time, hot and made exactly as requested my family always has lots of special requests. My favourite Chinese food restaurant by far!
