I love this location. I appreciate Save-On-Foods and have shopped there all my life, they have a great selection of local produce and quality meats. This location is particularly great! I come with my three kids and when my youngest ones were newborn they would always help me out to the car. Excellent customer service. Shout out to Dakota who helped me to my car many times. Also I always call in orders for party platters at the deli which made hosting parties so much simpler, very affordable and high quality.

My previous 2 visits at this store have been very unpleasant. The male working in deli with long hair seems like he hates his job, I’ve encountered him many times and he seems to always be in a very bad mood.nnThe most recent time I was there the area where donuts/sweets/danish’s are stored there was 5-6 bugs and flies. It was disgusting to see. I wish I took photos it was extremely unsanitary- not sure how this is acceptable at any store really. I was about to purchase some items and realized how many creatures were in there. The store is generally very clean and staff is also very kind but this needs attention.nnThe security guard at the front is absolutely amazing.

Save on foods has ton of high quality grocery options.nnThey also carry pretty good organic foods.nnThe staff is over all friendly, helpful and efficient .nnIf you live nearby South Surrey definitely come by check it out.

I went shopping on save on food in Thursday afternoon. During the payment the cashier asked me “do you want to redeem your points ?”I answer yes, but by the end I found my points was redeemed, but the food was charged by original price instead of the flyer price. I went to customer service, An Indian girl service me. I told her what happened ,to my surprised she said that is the store policy. To avoid misunderstanding, I ask her what’s your policy? She answered”if you redeem your points, you pay by the original price, Not the price on the flyer. “ this is my first time to hear such a ridiculous policy in Canada for so many years. I tried to explain to her that doesn’t make sense .but she insist you say that’s the store policy. That’s the store policy. OK then just keep your stupid policy. You lost your customer. I will never come back.

Always nice and clean with fresh produce. Prices are high unless something’s on sale. They sell alcohol at this location. The staff are helpful but sometimes when it’s busy it takes a long time to get checked out.
