I went there twice. The crispy diced chicken meal was great. I loved it. But the pork chop was not fresh. It must have been kept in the fridge for a long time and tasted sour .
A2. Korean style BBQ pork bento. The bowl was flavourful and good for a quick small meal. The pork and egg were well marinaded. I was very satisfied after the meal.
It's not something I would drive out of my way to go to, but its a great little mom and pop shop that serves a collection of taiwanese/korean favourites that are done competently, at a good budget and with good portions. It isn't fancy but I appreciate all that they do at the price they do it at. Service was A+ too.
First time trying Sasaya Bistro! I was walking around the area and the vegetarian spicy hotpot poster on the window caught my eye! I ordered the vegetarian spicy hotpot and my partner ordered the fried pork ribs! The food took a little long but the portion is great for its price! I think the taste was pretty authentic as well! The food is not too heavily seasoned - definitely on the healthier side! What impressed me most is the long list of vegetarian items on the menu! Definitely recommend for veggie lovers out there!
Taiwanese comfort food. Great portion for the price. The salt and pepper popcorn chicken was very good. Seafood hotpot had lots of vermicelli and tofu. Large seating area with many books free to enjoy while dining. Food took a bit long to get to table, otherwise service was fine. Usually no waiting for table which is great for a quick bite!
A little Taiwanese restaurant. Have a family run feel. Good selection on menu. Tried couple dishes. There were good. Bibimba was nice except the meat was a little dry. Will try some more dishes in the future visits.
Visited here around 3pm, very quiet. Warm, old fashioned style decor. Standard Taiwanese style food. Nice place to stay if you live in this neighbourhood.
like the cozy family environment, food is healthy and tasty. Taiwan pepper fried chicken is my favorite. variety of veggies makes it outstanding.
Visited this place a few days ago. Udon and rice entree portions were reasonable, taste is mediocre, regular home style cooking. Also ordered 3-cup pork intestines, dish portion was very small for the price even taking inflation into account. Would not visit again.
We got the bibimbap and seafood tofu pot see picture. It was just ok. One star rating because of sanitation concerns: There were flies and silver fish on our table.
