SAQ Sélection

Very nice employees even though I am unilingual. They are always very pleasant with me. Also it's easy to navigate this SAQ

Disgusted with the fact that a cashier followed me to the parking lot where my father-in-law waited in the vehicle with my sons. While in the store I handed a bottle of wine off to my husband, a Quebec bilingual native, to pay for along with his other items as this was not my first time stuggling with the language barrier and knowing the further North we travel into the province the ruder things get. I went back one more time to check the very poor selection for what we had originally came into the store looking for SAQ would be better advised to stock ciders from other areas of Canada… even if not French, as the rest of the country stocks French products.nnBefore we realized something might be the matter the cashier conversed with another patron in the parking lot, telling her that she was looking for “me” believing I pocketed something in my purse and planned to capture our licence plate. Gobsmacking! The plate of a rental vehicle we picked up from the airport when we landed last week for while we are on holidays visiting family for the first time in 11 years?! I remember now why I let out visits go so long. Thank goodness my husband stopped to ask what she was doing and if we could help. He had me jump out to assist with rectifying the situation. The cashier asked that I show the contents of my purse to which I very obviously had no product stored inside.nnPerhaps SAQs should go on strike and allow the company to hire more competent employees!! I would have not even given a single star, however single star was the minimum selection.

Excellent service. We moved from Montreal, so some of our usual wines are not in stock, but the suggested alternatives were also excellent ... at a similar price. Thank you
