Maison Multi-Foyers (La)

Was sold a wood fireplace that his not strong enough for the size of my house. When we call them reporting the problem, we were given a "sell speech" that everything his fine. Now i am a woodland owner who have to rely on gaz to heat his house during cold days...

We recently contacted this company to come and check our wood stove, as when the stove gets hot the doors move to such a degree that they become impossible to close, becoming very dangerous. I was asked to send photos, and got no response. I then emailed again asking to confirm receipt of my email, but still no response. This morning, I called and was told that we had a good stove, that all that was needed was to adjust the doors, and to do it myself. When I indicated that the screws would not budge and seemed in good position, yet when hot the doors move so much that they cannot be closed, I was told that this is normal! This is dangerous advice, and I have therefore decided to post this review, and to report this business. Discussions with other professionals also indicate that this is not an appropriate response.
