I received excellent customer service from Marie at the front desk. She was very welcoming and help me find a better room. Overall, the room was good. The only thing that I could say was that the Kleenex was empty, and the hairdryer didn’t work. Additionally, and while not a big deal, the bathroom door won’t close properly, which could be an issue for some people. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable.* update: the next morning when I went to make coffee, I found grounds left in the coffee maker.

We stayed at the pool area and it was incredibly good and thanks for the help of Marie. My children enjoyed the pool and the room is very clean which was made by Rafael. I will absolutely stay again in Sandman Castlegar.

We recently hosted my daughter’s birthday party at the hotel’s banquet room, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! I’d like to give special recognition to Mariejel, who went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire process—from planning to execution.nnMariejel made sure that all our requests were followed perfectly, especially the specific table and chair setup we asked for. It meant so much to see everything arranged exactly as we had requested. She stayed in touch, checked in regularly, and ensured every detail was taken care of with care and professionalism.nnThe rest of the staff were also very accommodating and courteous, which added to the overall positive atmosphere of the event. The banquet room itself was clean, spacious, and ideal for hosting a celebration.nnThank you again to Mariejel and the team for making my daughter’s birthday so special. We truly appreciate the effort and service, and we’ll definitely recommend your venue to friends and family!

Very strategic location, room is clean specially the bathroom, the pool is a great hangout area for the kids, and staff are friendly - Thanks to Marie! Overall satisfied and highly recommended.nnSpent Christmas eve with my family.
