Story

Though a lot has changed since we opened in 1986, Sandcastle Bowl Bar & Grill is still just as it should be: fun, familiar, and welcoming to every member of our community. Local owners, Jennifer and Brad, love what they do, and they love getting to know their customers. Their mom-and-pop mentality has created a place where everyone in White Rock can feel at home. And with 20 lanes, homemade food, and a bar featuring local craft brews, there's as much fun to be had as there are friendly faces to see!

It was my first time sharing fun with my family at such a place. You can tell that they have an old decoration but it doesn’t matter! Their family lanes are very kid-friendly. They offer slides for the little people who can easily “throw” a ball thru the slide. The lights aside the lanes were fantastic and very motivational for playing. Will come again!
Lots of fun to be had here, even if you’re not an experienced bowler. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience.
10 stars!!!! Highly recommend Sandcastle for so many reasons! First the bowling is so fun and I love that they have 5 and 10 pin options. You can book/reserve online which make it super convenient! There is a lot of lanes and lots of space. There is a big secondary parking lot down the hill.nThe staff are exceptional! They honestly go above and beyond and are super kind to every guest. They are attentive and they all work so so hard. Even when it is busy, everything runs so smoothly. The are so quick at cleaning after each guest so the next one in the lanes is ready to go.nTHE FOOD!! OMG the food!!nFirst, the fries are no joke the best I've ever had, they had just put SMASH burgers on the menu and my family tried each and to say they were good is an understatement! We will definitely be back for the food even if we aren't bowling! Absolutely amazing!!!
I've been coming here since I was a teenager. Today we came in with our family my husband, child, and I. Staff were nice and the place is well-taken care of, just as it always has been. We had two minutes remaining on our reservation and an employee asked us to leave the lane and change our shoes above because another family had two lanes reserved, one of which was the one we were using, and they were waiting. Highly suggest that the facility leave at least 5 minutes between reservations to avoid asking people to leave before their time is even over especially given the cost we spent $72 for one hour of bowling.
What a fun place! Amazing range of drinks, especially the beers. For bowling, they have different and interesting styles of competitions which keeps it fresh! I want to go back soon.
