Sammy J's Grill & Bar

I haven't been in a few years and was not disappointed. The food was great and service was on par. Lot's of tv screens to enjoy any sporting event. The black jack strips as always are a must along with the steak bites. The Cajun BBQ chicken club burger was excellent. They also have a good kids menu and provide worksheets with coloring to keep them busy.

Wife and I went to SJP for dinner one night. We had the Panko Shrimp for starters which were amazing. The coating was perfect and the shrimp tasted fresh. For mains, my wife had the Apple Mango panini which I tasted and I would highly recommend for anyone to try out. I had the backyard burger which was very good cheese could have been better. For a busy time the service was very fast and our server was very courteous and friendly.

We came to Sammy J's for our good buddy's 50th birthday. I haven't been to Sammy J's in 15 years. It was a delightful experience. Our server Abbey is amazing, and a clear communicator, that is no easy feat while wearing a mask. We had a 2 separate tables of 6 people and she was organized and quick with the bills. Abbey is a definite asset to the Sammy Js crew. Our girls just loved how friendly she is and how quick on her feet she is!!! Thank you Abbey for making our buddy's birthday a complete success

We love coming to Sammy J's for their food, comfortable seating and service. I'd give it a 5th star but the music is always unreasonably loud. We unfortunately avoid coming here more often for that reason. It's not enjoyable if you have to shout to hear the person at the same table as you. Nice sport bar type atmosphere. The food was disappointing, and served was okay. Thought I can't go wrong with a burger, but my burger was cold and hard and flavorless. Penne bowl and tacos were meh. Drinks were not good. Overly sweet and almost chemical tasting. Was throughly disappointing, especially because it wasn't cheap. They really need to up their food game. Not sure if it's a one-off thing as there are a lot of good reviews for the food.

If you are looking for unique taste, great ambience and lots of exclusive food varieties, you should try this Sammy J's Grill in Langley. Tried the Thai Budda Bowl with chicken and Blackjack Strips, the taste was amazing. The prices are a bit high buy its well worth it. Vegetarian options: Some decent vegetarian options are available. Parking: Has ample parking spots available, even more at the superstore parking lot.

I ordered the New Orleans Skillet for take-out tonight and wow! It was truely amazing. Can't wait to try out something else on the menu. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is I only have one experience to judge from.

Great spot! Grilled Cheese is Pretty Hearty! Liked the home grilled cheese w/ Tomatoe Soup. Mussels came in Curry sauce not so fond of it. Prawn pasta with lingunie noodles is great, will ask for extra sauce next time. Will be back for sure to try out the rest!!Food: 5/5

Always the best place in Langley to go for great food, very friendly service and an awesome atmosphere. The strawberry fields salad is my favourite and my partner loves their beef dip. You cant go wrong here. Most evenings we have been able to be accomodated with seating with little or no waiting.
