Been here multiple times for dine in and takeout. All the dishes are solid and delicious! The place gets packed really quickly so either reserve or come when it opens. For dine in, would recommend getting jeyuk spicy pork chulpan with the rice. It’s a sizzling hot place with lots of meat, veggies, rice, egg and cheese! Love coming here with friends and family.
i had the best naengmyun cold noodles of my life here!!! my vegetarian friend also really enjoyed the curry udon. note the spiciness level here is up a notch so be careful when ordering soups. pricing was also very reasonable and you get a good portion. one downside would be that there were no side dishes like what usual Korean restaurants give out before you get your meal. i highly recommend calling in beforehand to reserve a table as this place was constantly packed. people know where the good food is at! Vegetarian options: soups are made with beef broth so avoid that. they do have vegetarian curry udon and bibimbap i believe.
The experience is not quite good. After waiting 2 hours, we finally got our positions. We ordered all you can eat and waited for 30 minutes to get our food don't know why all you can eat meat can take half of an hour to prepare. If they are busy, I can understand them. However, the tables are not even full. When we tried to get some more ribs and beefsince it's all you can eat, we waited for another 15 minutes. Then they gave us ribs but forgot about the beef. The food is good. But the experience is not as good as the food.
This was definitely one of the great korean restaurants downtown. For appetizers, the Tteokbokki with cheese was flavourful sauce was delicious, the seafood pancake was great although I wish they put a bit more of sauce with it. For the main course, I had the pork Chulpan Jeyuk which was paired with a bibimbap and the flavours were amazing. Just the right amount of spice and sauce with vegetables adding a small crunch for the texture the meal could only be shared by two people. Abother friend had a curry udon which was delicious as well. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Busy place that always delivers when it comes to quality and service. Been here multiple times and have tried several dishes and am never disappointed. This time I had the bulgogi dupbap and sweet chickie and tried some of the chicken curry katsu and kimchi fries as well, all of which was just delicious. Portions are huge, so go hungry.
Nice place for a Korean BBQ, we ordered all you can eat in BBQ, they bring you a box with 4 types of meats and they very delicious except the chicken, the texture of the chicken was weird and also the flavor, that is our only complaint. Everything else was delicious! The service was very fast and helpful. For sure we are coming back but not eating the chicken.
→ One of the best Korean restaurants in MTL → We ordered beef tartare, chicken katsu plate with fries, and pork curry rice. All were pretty good and well-seasoned with large portions. Our favorite one was beef tartare. It was so addictive and heavenly. There was no doubt why it was marked with most loved sign on the menu. → The price was reasonable. The service was great. The staffs were nice and friendly. For our next visit, maybe we'll try jokbal, mussel soup, and seafood pancake. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ‍
I like the atmosphere of the place. What I ordered, their curry chicken rice was not bad/not great it was ok. The chicken was too fried. The curry sauce was too salty for my taste. Not sure if the curry sauce has to be served room temperature or hot... I ordered a seafood pancake and unfortunately it was not crispy as I would have prefered. Price range is good. The place is packed so expect to wait 30 minutes. Service is good too. I would come back to try some other dishes. Vegetarian options: Mandu dumpling, tofu option.
I enjoyed the yakki udon that I had. It came in a hot stone bowl, it has oyster sauce and tasted as I expected, although a little too oily. It is a generous portion. The service was friendly but I would have preferred to sit in the main dining area. The one in the back didn't have any atmosphere at all. We didn't try the barbecue meal but I could see that it's a popular meal since many people were having it. All in all it was a good experience but you leave the place smelling of food : . I might go again to try other dishes.
Excellent waiter and service. They were super friendly and patient. We ordered the bibimbap, beef tartare, fried chicken, and yakki udon. All of it looked and tasted great. The sweet chickie was a standout appeitizer for me because it was so light and fluffy, not greasy at all, with a light coating of sweet sauce. The beef tartare was fresh and delicious. The dolsot bibimbap stole the show with the sizzle in the stone bowl. And the restaurant has a chic, greenhouse look out seating area with fairy lights and chandeliers.
