The service was friendly and efficient. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu has a good variety of options for vegetarian meals but compared to Korean cuisine in this general vicinity, a tad overpriced for similar quality food. However, the vegetable pancake was quite possibly the best I've had and worth the extra $$. If you're not sure what to get, this is fantastic for sharing. Would return to try out the other pancakes.
Really good Korean restaurant! The pigs feet is absolutely delicious and the portion is huge ! The side dishes are really good and tasty! We also had a cheesy casserole with chicken and noodles amazing. Overall this is a great place to get good Korean food. 10/10!
Sadly, ginseng chicken is no longer on the menu : Seems lots of good reviews for the pork leg so I ordered. Felt so so for me, maybe because it's a cold dish but seems like other customers enjoyed it. Thumbs up for Seafood pancake and beef Japche!
Clean, peaceful and excellent service. Items well explained in menu. Food was fresh, delicious and served immediately - temperatures of our food was fabulously hot! All staff wore masks and there are hand sanitizer bottles at each table. A truly lovely meal experience. Highly recommend. Hours 12pm - 10pm #Korean #Japanese #localguide
Ok dining experience that we had as four people. The service was excellent, however they only a give a small amount of the banchan refills are $$. The pajeon was good, but the spicy fried chicken as an appetizer was soggy and the sauce wasn't anything special. The japchae was ok and the spicy braised chicken with cheese was good. Overall, it's ok if you're in the area and looking for a lunch spot, but if you have to wait for a table or if you want to eat korean food with impactful flavors that leave an impression, I suggest you go elsewhere.
One of our favorite Korean restaurants in MTL Actually, we really love Korean food and wanted to discover more, so we always ordered different dishes in each Korean restaurant that we've been to. At KimGalbi, we've tried spicy squid combo, bulgogi combo, sundae gukbap, and ttukbaegi bulgogi. All were delicious and well-seasoned. For the combo plate like spicy squid combo or bulgogi combo, it was amazing because you could had pajeon Korean pancake, japchae Korean glass noodles, steamed rice, and your choice of pan fried meat pork/beef/chicken or spicy squid in only one dish. We've never tried sundae gukbap or ttukbaegi bulgogi before, but we loved them at first try. And trust us, the combo plate + the soup made the best combo ever. The staffs were nice and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and chilly. There are plenty of choices that we want to try here, so we'll come back for sure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
The food here is very good but not the best Korean food I have had in Montreal. We ordered the tofu kimchi and the sizzling pork hot plate. The dishes were well flavoured but definitely on the oily side.
Took the chicken combo with spicy sauce and fried chicken appetizer. Really good! If you dont know what to take, choose one of the combo. It comes with japchae, korean pancake, rice and meat. Everything was good… except that it is a bit expensive. For 3 ppl 108$ taxes and tip included. Expensive, if we compare to the average prices of other Korean restaurants.
I love Korean food in general. I had spicy chicken with cheese and seafood pajeon there. I can say they were not the best ones I had in Montreal but I still liked them:Food: 4/5
Very nice restaurant with ambiance. We loved the food. We had cheese dak-galbi and boneless chicken . Both dishes were delicious. Paid parking spots were available within walking distance 5-6 minutes. Will definitely go back. :
