SAIT is still a great school. I graduated from there in 2002, and have experienced careers in Electronics, Railroads, Fixed Wireless, and Energy. The campus is more active than ever and filled with bright young minds looking to find their future. The image of one of the most historic buildings on campus is Heritage Hall. I took my last exam there on the 4th floor in a creaky desk and open windows the only way to keep cool. It remains a proud hub of activity, and enjoyed by many successful graduates.nJK.
As a student at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology SAIT, where I am pursuing a Professional Certificate in Project Management, I can confidently say that this campus provides an exceptional learning environment. The facilities are modern, well-equipped, and designed to support student success.nnOne of the standout aspects of my experience has been studying under Professor Dean Sheppard. He is not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly approachable and supportive, making complex topics engaging and applicable to real-world scenarios.nnSAIT’s management also deserves praise for being efficient and committed to providing students with quality education and resources. Their proactive approach ensures a smooth academic experience.nnThe campus offers a range of services and amenities that enhance the student experience. There are convenient dining options like Tim Hortons and Starbucks, perfect for grabbing a quick coffee or snack between classes. The availability of these services adds to the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere of the campus.nnAdditionally, the campus is beautifully maintained, with a mix of modern infrastructure and green spaces that make it an enjoyable place to study and relax. Its location in Calgary is convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby amenities.nnOverall, SAIT has been a fantastic place to learn and grow, with excellent faculty, supportive management, and great facilities. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering further education in Canada!
My son submitted an application to your college on October 6, and it was declined on October 11 because he doesn’t have PR. Unfortunately, no one has helped him understand what the correct next steps are, and our emails have not been answered. This is the “support” we received.
The learning part is perfect - good teachers, hands-on experience, all that, but the experience of being on campus and getting to classes is frustrating. Parking is unreasonably expensive I get it’s a small lot by the main entrance but 27$ a day is wild, the events in the heritage hall often block pathways and detours are ridiculous, making me walk too much, lots of random people who are not SAIT students or employees, elevators never work. It is modern clean and looks nice when there is no events but if you decide to study here be ready to spend extra 10 minutes to get from one classroom to another and getting on campus at least 20 minutes before your class so you’re not late because of detours and the weird building layout. I love studying here, I just hate getting to classes and getting to places during a break
The Open House experience is well organized and has lots of informative people to chat with on all that SAIT has to offer. Great experience and really easy to get to.
