Reception and principal Rodrigues are very rude and impatient with the parents and kids. Ive been nothing but kind and cooperative with anyone that I’ve spoken to while communicating with them. They’re not accommodating to single parents who can only have meetings via phone, zoom or email, do to very common work expectations vs the times schools are open. The staff fail to meet the quality standards for any child who is expected to be treated fairly and kept safe while at school. There was a boy who was constantly threatening my daughter’s life when she would attend, we approached the school multiple times with many different incidents involving this boy, and nothing was ever done to make him stop from the schools side. I eventually had to call the police as this he and his friends continued to think they could get away with this behaviour due to the lack of action taken on the schools side, as these kids began following my daughter home from school and stalking her continuously, which caused her to fear for her life and not want to go to school. She missed a majority of grade 10 and felt extremely unsafe when she would attend due to the principal not taking any action to ensure my daughter’s safety. I went to this H.S when I was a teen, and my kids were very excited for a long time to start here based on my experience. It’s a shame, to say the least, at how much this school has gone downhill. Very disappointed. We’ve moved since this, and now I am attempting to transfer my daughter to her new designated school, and am needing to deal with these humans once again. Yet again, I’m very disappointed with how rude and impatient the staff for this school is being about a simple transfer.
Just graduated from this school. I loved it here. 90% of the teachers are fantastic. Shout out to Abdalla, Hudson, Kalkman, Hartley, Yunta, Sayer and Guertin. I loved nearly all my classmates at this school. Never heard of bullying issues with the people I knew. I miss this place already and learned a lot here. Lots of vape and drugs in the washroom but it never felt unsafe, it would occasionally be hard to get through to a stall but not too bad. It was frustrating, however, when vandalism through out the schools washrooms would force them to be closed down and limit the number available. This was very frustrating for both staff and students.
Schools smells like sewer. Only good smelling spot are the bathrooms where it smells like vape. Sewer smell gets blown all through the school by the vents which the school is to lazy and cheap to fix.
In my very valued opinion, all students should be attending this school. I had a great time and would recommend any industrious individual who values strong education and friendly staff to cum in here and learn. I admire the sheer diversity of the students. So many people from so many different backgrounds, many of which speak their native language; something about that atmosphere just appeals to my eyes. The education and staff are both outstanding, if I do say so myself. Oh and the girls here are so beautiful.
Very big school. Lots of options/classes to do. There are 4 floors for 1600+ people. When you go to this school, it will be enjoyable. Looking forward to start high school in September 2020.
