Saint-Eloi Café Bistro

Beautiful spot for breakfast, good views of the river through a large, glass front wall. We waited 40 minutes for a table for 10. A big selection of breakfasts including gluten free, which I am not personally interested in. Portion sized are good. The French toast was fresh and tasty, the fruit was also very fresh and attractively presented, the coffee keeps coming. One small point - charged $1.75, which was not mentioned by he waiter, for a very small portion of maple syrup. Most places offer it in a help-yourself jug included in the price. Service friendly, in English and French.

Really happy that they have gluten free options now. The food is nothing to write home about, it's just your typical egg breakfast. But the view is amazing! Take a walk around Lac Des Fée to digest!!! That's why you chose this place!

It's so great to have a safe place to bring kids and get them active in the winter. What a great way to try a new activity, like skiing or snowshoeing. Get a library card and enjoy winter at the Bistro.

Popular bistro restaurant besides Lake Lemay, mostly known for its breakfasts and receptions/events. Perfect before a walk around the Lake! Classic breakfast/bistro menu with choices of eggs, omelets, sandwiches, burgers, etc. Food is fresh, tasty and decently presented. Omelets and burgers are always a good choice. Meals are a bit pricey for the average level of sophistication and there are no "out of ordinary" choices on the menu, but this is well compensated by calm and refreshing emplacement with nice balcony and consistently good service.
