Took my mom & sister to dinner here for their first time and everything was delightful. We got the egg rolls & wontons first and they were amazing as always. Then we got lemongrass curry with chicken, the vegetable stir fry with chicken, and the garlic stir fry with shrimp. We all stuffed our faces and were 100% satisfied. So great!
Possibly the worst Vietnamese restaurant They only one server who cooks and serves at the same time Their bubble tea was so bad. The tapioca pearls were soaks and saggy. I ordered a pho. They took 30 minutes to make this. And there was only 3 other tables. I was so disappointed that this place has many good reviews.
Combo pho supposedly brisket & filet mignon seemed all brisket, and the meat didn’t seem that fresh. Banh mi sandwich had great bread!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Yummy food, great service, cozy atmosphere!! Some of my favorite pho in minneapolis!! Check this spot in uptown out and tip your servers!!
Food was out of this world. Amazing fried rice. My friend said his Brisket Pho was terrific. The ambiance is low key, but the owner is a gem. This place is a must!
Best pork egg rolls in MN! Everything they make is amazing. I have been going here for years and now have 45 minutes to get there and still go every chance I get!
These owners are the worst, I’m new to uptown and went out to celebrate my anniversary with my husband. Was there for 1 hour and 30 minutes exact. As we were walking to my husbands car, we noticed that the car wasn’t there anymore and got towed. We called the tow place and they told us they only accepted cash!! Which we thought was weird, but when we got there they let us pay with card ? Hmm very weird they also told us that the owner called them right away when we parked there. I get it, it’s your business but they were going to close in two hours so why call? Literally wasn’t bothering anyone. Meanwhile my husband mustang got damaged just because of these owners!
First of all, the food is delicious. I enjoy the food so much that I overlook the extreeeeemely slooooow service. The atmosphere is clean, cold and quiet. There is one nice older lady who shuffles about and runs the show I suspect she is the waitress, cook, cashier, busser AND answers the phone. As soon as I walked in, I asked for spring rolls and wings, because I was starving and already knew it would be a long while before any food was on the table. My guest who had never been there before was convinced the nice lady ventured to Antartica on dogsled for the ice as it took about 25 minutes to get a glass of water. We were sincerely the only table there so I think the majority of the business is composed of much smarter customers who call in their orders. I am doing that next time. I have some photos, but I apologize, we had waited a good 50 minutes for our food and dove in when the plates were set down before I could get a photo. Spring rolls are amazing. I had chicken chow mein and my friend had lemon chicken. It was all delicious. Maybe bring a sandwich to hold you over until the food comes? Also, pack some salt because there were no salt shakers anywhere. Pepper, soy sauce and sugar was all they had out. I would have asked for some, but that might have been another long wait.
We decided to visit this place after my husband said the reviews were promising. Got there around 8pm because I worked a tad later then normal. It was tough finding a parking spot, we basically drove around a couple times before getting lost in an alley lol. It was perfect timing because that alley led us to the back parking of Saigon! Perfect coincidence! Anyways the staff were great and seated us right away. We ordered pho and padthai and some fried wings, the sauce to the wings were ohh so good. I was surprised to see a lot of veggies in the padthai and it was very flavorful. The pho broth was actually good but the noodle weren’t that good and the beef slices were a bit thick and tough. Like I mentioned the broth was good so I dranked it all! Yum. Would I go back? Absolutely! Would love to try more items when I go back.
Best egg rolls I had ever! My sister ordered this for takeout. She said that we just had to try their egg rolls and she was right! They were simply delicious and they came with this very tasty sauce. Can’t wait to eat them again!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
