Lotus Restaurant

Been there two or three times, the taste is great and the price is cheap. Pho is rich in materials and large in quantity. Spring rolls are delicious with sweet and spicy sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by the special fried chicken wings. I personally like to try a few different dishes, so I order more. Thai milk tea has a unique taste and is recommended to try.

A hidden gem! Or at least, hidden from me because I only just discovered it. The food is awesome and only upstaged by the amazing service. We got the Singapore noodles with tofu and the Pad Thai with chicken. Both were really really good. The guy was very helpful with suggestions and spice levels. The service here was one of the friendliest of any place I've been to. Little kid wandered off the street and asked if he could have a cup of bubbles bubble tea bubbles and the guy gave him a small cup of bubbles for free. That was really cool to see that the kid was treated with respect and kindness. Service and food were very quick too. It's a busy place with limited parking. There are street parking depending on time of day. I'll definitely be back. Vegetarian options: They have vegetable, tofu and mock duck options. Seemed like most dishes could be made a vegetarian option. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly place. Options for kids. Parking: Small parking lot. Gets busy. Lots of on street parking.

Really good service and great food. The spring rolls were served cold like a salad and not like I was expecting but super good. The Pad Thai was good but the garlic dish was amazing. Would visit again soon.Recommended dishesFresh Spring Rolls 2

Got an order of Spring Rolls and an order of Eggs Rolls Spring Rolls were out of the Park. Not so much for the Pork Egg Rolls. The Sesame Seed Chicken was pretty plain and under seasoned. The Mango Bubble Tea was very interesting. Over all it was good food, good service, and a fun atmosphere.. I gave it a 3 Star do to the lack of seasoning and the over all presentation of the meal itself. I wish The Lotus a continued successful business. Hangover food approved! If you want a lot of pho then get the large. One of the larger bowls of pho I've found throughout Minneapolis and it's only 11 dollars. Good tasting broth, not overly fatty with cut chives and cilantro. I couldn't taste the cilantro which can be over powering. Their egg rolls are crispy and average in size. Wantons are the same but sweet, I believe they sprinkle a little sugar on them. Spring rolls are also pretty typical to what I've seen from other restaurants. Service was good. Only real complaint is their parking situation.

Excellent Bun Bo Hue and Egg Rolls. The Kung Pao Chicken and Imperial Chicken were very average - nothing special. The Fresh Spring Rolls, while big, have a bit of an odd taste to them. They almost smelled/tasted like they had pumpkin in them. I believe this was due to however they pickled one of the vegetables inside. Not my favorite, l'll be honest.

One of the best spots for Phở in Minneapolis! The House Phở has a really big portion and great flavor! Also try the Lotus wings, so delicious!

Food is good. However, ambience is bad. Small, crowded place. First time the fork they gave my husband, there was still food on it not going back again.

I love the Kung Pao with mock duck. It was my first time trying mock duck and it was sooooooo good. It beats the heck out of tofu. Really nice staff, too. They don’t serve alcohol, but you can go to the package store next door and roll your own. I will definitely be back.
