One of the best buffets in all of Minneapolis. The staff is very friendly and efficient. There is always fresh food rotating and being served. The sushi is easily the best quality for a buffet, it's always delicious and they have a lot of variety. You have to try the hibachi when you go, you can build your own and customize. MUST TRY!!!!
The food was good and fresh. The restaurant was clean and very nicely decorated. The waitress was friendly and our glasses were regularly refilled. There was a lot of variety. The sushi was top notch. The location is a little confusing to get to, but I definitely enjoyed the experience.
The one on the right is her plate... She must be thinking of someone out there....and mine.... Many selection.... And I love it I usually go there and pick up lunch or dinner for -10 dollar...I can go there everyday of the week and never run out of choice ....it's a feast.... The employees don't look at me unless I ask... They take their money and I go.... But today this old man stared at me like white people do... When I go into their property... But that's fine he is probably very americanized.... You don't want me continue Enjoy don't give them people hard time
My Lovely Wife and I have eaten here a few times over the last few years and have really enjoyed eating here the Chinese food was good. Last week my Lovely Wife wanted me to take her here for she was craving Chinese. We were there on Saturday January 14th about 3:30 pm. The prices have increased quite a bit and the quality of the food was terrible. We both got really sick to our stomachs. Could Barely make it to the bathroom on a number of times. This Restaurant like a number of other Chinese restaurants start out with Really good food and the quality of the food is Good. But it seems after there open for a period of time, the quality of the food they serve goes way down hill. There were hardly anybody in the restaurant. When Restaurants start cutting corners, and quality of there food goes way down they loose their customers and will soon Close. We will never eat here again.
I came here for the first time last may, and again for the second time tonight with my folks. It’s a great place to go if you love buffets. Hands down the best buffet in the twin cities. Customizable buffet and SUSHI. All very fresh and rotated frequently Vegetarian options: So so many veggie options Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and many food options that kids like Parking: Large parking lot
I would definitely recommend this place if you don’t mind eating old overcooked greasy food. This place is obviously managed poorly and they are clearly trying to save money by not wasting food and serving it the next day which is disappointing. I first went here 10 years ago and they are still serving the same things. I did see that they remodeled the place but the food is sadly still the same. They charge so much to eat here and it’s horrible I would recommend a better place in Maplewood called the great moon buffet and it’s way batter then this place and you will be getting your money’s worth.
My favorite place ever of many places I’ve tried. Highly highly recommend! Flavors are great , decent options, sushi bar & you can have them make you some stuff fresh!
Upon first arriving I immediately took a moment to look on their menu wall with listed prices for various things to get a general idea of how much the cost would be for lunch for my wife and I. Mind you it was around 11:30am-12:00pm, so clearly lunchtime hours. The lunch price for an adult was close to $13/person, which was perfectly reasonable. But once we stepped up to the counter to pay, I was confused when I was told the total came to $40 and some odd change for just 2 people! Trying not to be rude I merely paid the woman without questioning it. She seemed mostly concerned with getting people out of her face as quickly as possible anyway, without so much as a "Welcome" greeting or a "Thank You" after I paid. She kept a completely straight face the entire time coming off as very cold and uninviting. The food WAS good for what it was, considering a lot of quality gets lost when serving yourself from a buffet table. It would have been more enjoyable if not for the many signs demanding that you not waste any food, threatening to charge you even more money should you do so. This made my wife afraid to leave even the most undesirable scraps on her plate that she never would have eaten otherwise. I can't say that we'll ever eat there again, and definitely wouldn't recommend any family or friends eat there either.
The restaurant was peaceful, food was amaaaaazing, te ambiance gave you the sincere culture of the beauty of the chinese culture. I was visiting from Atlanta, seeing my father whose a patient at the local hospital and needed break from the stress of seeing him in ICU. I decided to have a late lunch at this restaurant because it was within close proximity of the hospital and was throughly pleased. I hit 4 stars instead of 5 because before leaving the waitress demanded a tip which I was going to the car to get in cash the demanding turned me off. I returned the following evening to try the dinner menu and had an unpleasant experience with the cashier who charged me 7 dollars more than the dinner menu price and wouldn't give me my receipt nor did she ring me up. She just gave me a price and expected me to pay. I gave her the dinner price that was listed on the wall and kept the extra 7 dollars she attempted to bribe me of. I gave that 7 to the pleasant waitress who served me that evening. But all in all minus those 2 dismays from staff its a delicious restaurant for a peaceful meal. Just be mindful and watchful.
Food was good, service was terrible. After the second plate my husband and I came back to a cleaned up table but even after the waiter noticed that we were still eating, no silverware, drink refill, no nothing even after asking.Food: 3/5
