Saffron Spice Kitchen

Been here twice now and the service has always been great and fast. Their food has good spice to them and is very tasty! With regards to their snacks, I would recommend getting their Butter Chicken roll if you are the type to eat less spicy food. The Mutton roll on the other hand has a great kick and is my favourite! Their Vada is the best one I’ve tried so far - not so oily and is crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and not spicy. Also only takeout, no dine in area.

Saffron spice chicken is a Srilankan/ South Indian take out that is conveniently located by heritage hills and Eglinton in a strip mall. The staff are friendly. The place is clean and most importantly the food taste fantastic! The best vada’s with chutney that I have tasted. Parotta’s are awesome. The famous mutton roll and kothu to mention a few. Highly recommend

I was excited to try this place for a bit and Saffron did not disappoint. Had the vegan Kuthu Roti and veggie rolls. It's been too long since the last time I've had Sri Lankan cuisine and hope to return soon.

We went when it was almost closing but the servers were very courteous and helpful in aiding us to select. We just loved the taste of the butter chicken kothu roti and the mutton rolls imho were one of the tastiest and not just full of potatoes! The chicken curry gave the yummiest whiff when we opened the container at home. It has these flavourful spices which are made by them. Parottas were flaky and well cooked. I liked the cleanliness of the restaurant and the decor was tastefully done. My only complaint: I wish it was a sit down and not a take out place. Since they are very new I wish them all the best and want to see them around for years to come.

Just they way we like it! dosa, masala chai idli, vada with the rocks chutney and Sambar everything was spot on!

Tried their vada. Absolutely delicious, crunchy, and served hot. I am pretty satisfied with the portion, quality, and price of all food served. I ordered thru UberEat, I ordered like 4 dishes and it came to $32 with tax and delivery fee.

I used to love this place, always recommended it to friends and family! But I won't be going back anymore. The food quality has become horrible! Not the same quality yet their prices haven't dropped! I wouldn't mind paying but not for such horrible, poor quality food with no meat in their rolls and flavour gone side ways! . You guys really need to fix up else you'll be losing all ur customers! Well no more saffron for me!

Ordered mutton rolls and a mutton kothu this past weekend and was pretty let down. Yes they can be fried fresh, but do not expect much meat in the rolls. Even with the kothu roti I had specifically paid extra to include more mutton and did not receive any extra. Reduce your expectations if you plan on ordering from here.

Worst food ever! Just purchased Parota and butter chicken. An amateur cook could have done a better job! You could have gotten a better butter chicken out of a bottle from the grocery store.The worst butter chicken ever and the parota was not even cooked- you can taste the flour- gummy and uncooked. over priced place for tasteless and uncooked food!

Wouldn't recommend takeaways from this place. Bought couple of times Kothu and mutton roll. It's a rip off and hardly any meat. Thought first round was Cook's oversight but the second time was absolutely no meat. Deceiving. Packaging is pretty but food contents doesn't reflect the name Chicken Kothu. Posted my experience to guide customers to have fair value for money than utter disappointment and waste time. There are better restaurants out there representing Quality Content.
