Visited this place after good review from many. We ordered family pack boneless Biryani. But didn't like the taste & quality. Seems like as if they have cooked in Pressure cooker. They didn't even ask for spice level & even I forgot to mention. Be default it was at higher side n tough for kids to eat.
Hi all, This is not the picture of the biryani I bought from here.. interesting right!! after being a customer of more than a year.. something has happened to their customer service as they have grown as so arrogant.. they are not able to deliver on time.. so I got a motivation from their customer service to prepare by myself and yeah it was delicious that I could prepare.. I am definitely not going back anytime sooner or later to them.. If you get similar experience from them.. try it out yourself and I’m sure you can do it yourself
Scam alert!!! Don’t even fall for their combo offer! I ordered Monday combo pack - Chiken biryani + chicken pakode for 21.99$. This restaurant should really value money and be considerate about their portion level. There were only 7 very small pieces of fried chicken which tasted and smelled bad. It is definitely the old chicken. And biryani container was small and they added 1 leg quarters with 1/4 cup of rice which is not even enough portion for 1 adult. Completely waste of money! I have shared comparison of silver spoon portion with bawarchi one. Silver spoon costs 8.99$ with 1 leg quarter and enough portion for 2 adults.
I will never dare to come back because their food is inedible to me. I ordered a chicken biryani through DoorDash and it's way too spicy that it burns my tongue and throat after a few spoon even though the rice and chicken is cooked nicely. Even my friend who loves spicy food say it burns. They should have asked but might be bc of third party system they couldn't-that's why I give them an extra star or leave the extra spice to be added on later. The setting looks nice and the portion is pretty big tho
Tried here for the first time and so went ahead & ordered safe items on the menu - Hyderabadi Chicken Biriyani and Chicken 65. Have to say it's the best I've had here in Canada. Nice & Gentle staff and hostess too. Really good experience and recommending this place for authentic Telugu/ Hyderabadi cuisine. Will definitely be trying out their other menu items too in the next visit
Went in for lunch around 2:30 PM on a Monday afternoon. Restaurant was not busy at all, you would expect it to be neat and clean. Floors were dirty. My chair had biryani rice fallen over it, staff promptly said they would change the chair, they grabbed another chair which had more biryani rice fallen on it, it fell off the chair due to his grab and swing motion No one cleaned the rice fallen on the floor. Water was served in stained and oily glasses, did not touch it nor bothered to ask for different glass. Ordered a goat biryani, tasted decent, thankfully the plates and silverware was clean. Raita and Salan was served in chipped and broken earthenware, who does that? I've only given 1 star because the food was good but I'm highly concerned with the upkeep and sanitization/cleanliness at the restaurant. Will not return for another meal.
Updated review: I gave it another try. It was even worse. 3 Aloo pieces and peas - Nothing else. Even left special instructions. I don't think they care. It's take it or leave it. Well, I am never ordering from here EVER again. I have been a regular customer of this place since opening. It used to be a really good place. When I ordered Veg Dum Biryani recently, I got 4 potato pieces and 1 cauliflower piece in the entire biryani. It is just plain biryani rice.
Delicious biriyani in the city. I had Paneer veg dum biriyani. The spice level is bit high though. I personally like spicy foods, and I loved it Great hospitality.
Ordered takeout. Gongura chicken biryani was great. Special chicken dum biryani was good too!! Hariyali chicken and guntur paneer starters were good. Will visit again.Food: 4/5
This used to be our favorite Biryani spot as we used to order twice a week. Our last order had a lot of salt and a very less Biryani flavor. We had to throw it away as we couldn’t eat it. Additionally, they have increased the prices plus decreased the quantity. So we don’t feel like paying more for a lesser quantity and decreased quality. So, we have stopped ordering from Bawarchi.
