We just loved it guys. It's a good feel like going to a restaurant in Chennai. Super dooper service. They don't have a big team and still servicing with the . It was fully packed on Saturday lunch time. Don't know about the weekdays. I think they can still add more tables to accommodate few more families. Hope they keep the same quality.... Highly recommend this place. Take your friends who haven't been to back home restaurant. Loved it guys
I’m so disappointed. The thing about this place is they got huge potential to succeed and yet it seems to be wasted from my first experience there. The food was AMAZING!!!! But the very long waiting 1.5hr, the tight seating area. And the most disappointing one was when I got served my meal with party paper plates from the dollar store and & French fires container for the curries. Here I went with the expectation to experience eating on a banana leaf. But I didn’t expect to not get even regular plate if they ran out or only served them on weekends. These little things really impacted our first experience here. Not sure if they were off with short staff that day as we only seen good review from them prior. Food was still amazing!!! I will suggest calling ahead and getting takeout to go.
Authentic Chennai taste. Loved the unlimited non veg meals here. Chicken Briyani was awesome. It was made with Jeeragasamba rice. Chicken was tender and well cooked in the Briyani. The fish fry was awesome. 65 chicken was a class of its own. Porata was soft and fluffy. The desert payasam was tasty too. The cost was $24 inclusive of taxes for Sunday lunch meals.
Great food! Briyani is highly recommended. We had parota and chicken 65 biriyani. Both were so authentic to tamil nadu foods! It would be great if they increase the food quantity!
Typical Tamil Nadu style food. I liked serving the food on banana leaves which reminds you of marriage food in South India. Service is very good, staff is very courteous. Food tasted really good. Definitely worth a visit.
**NOT A FOOD REVIEW** We went to this place with my family but didn’t get an opportunity to eat due to the wait time and crowd. They open tables in batches. 55 people per batch. Each batch gets served for one hour. In this country time is money. I am not willing to show up and wait in the line for hour or more. Should have option to call in or go-online to book available slots.
Authentic taste. Really delicious food and great service. Took me back to having food at a Rottu Kadai ,parota Salna and kothu parota was the highlight and also the king fish fry was amazing !
Best hope for all Tamilans for there carving towards Tamil parampariya Samayal authentic Tamil Nadu Cuisine. Their banana leaf unlimited Thali is most recommended for those who try Tamil food for the first time to know the basics of Tamil hospital and their love towards foodie.Food: 5/5
Was searching for a Dosa place nearby and found this place. Getting into this place was a bit confusing. The signs are not clear enough. But food was good and very tasty. We didn't know that they have buffet. We went for ala carte menu and liked the Dosa we ordered. You can definitely try the place. Amma's kitchen .
