Food was AWESOME! The paneer kulcha with Chana was very good. Gobhi paranthas were fresh and excellent. Now you may wonder why only one star then. I’m from U.S. and you have to honor the prices and deals that you advertise on the menu. It was written that the combo meal includes tea amongst other items. We were told by our server that “it is a printing mistake and the tea is not included.” We were shocked but I smiled and ended up purchasing the tea separately. It really not about a couple of dollars. It’s about false advertisement and if it is a misprint in US, you pretty much HAVE to honor it. Again, food quality was great. I hope this review gets somebody’s attention in the management. I’m a small business owner and things like these are taken very seriously.
Good food and recommend alu parata and chole bathora. Dhayi voda is not up to the mark. Papam chat is ok ok to try one time. Cost wise moderate and no gratuity. Dyning space is good and can everyone easily get seats. Only 2 seater sofas and can be conjusted for 3. Overall good experience with food and friends.
So looks like Google just did a name change from the place it used be to this one. But it is a completely different establishment now. The place that used to be, was vegan friendly. Now they did answer some of the questions I had on the breads that they make and chickpea curry they had. They did say that naans and Paratha did not have milk, yogurt or butter dairy in them unless it was a paneer added bread. So ordered onion masala kulchas and paneer Parathas and one medium Chole chickpeas. The order took a good 20 minutes which meant it was freshly made and they were piping hot when they handed over to me. I drove for a few minutes and still they too hot to handle. The paneer Paratha were awesome according to my kid. Enough paneer stuffed and made perfectly. The onion and potato kulcha was again amazing. Nicely stuffed and a bit on the spicy side but that’s it needs. The Chole perfectly cooked and spiced. A lot empty shelfs and a bit disorganized is what I saw. Perhaps they opened recently? Also hope I get someone who understands what vegan is and which items are vegan. Although this restaurant now serves non-veg items as well, I am a bit skeptical.
Absolute horrible experience. The chaat I ordered tasted nothing like chaat. It was heavily salted and had too much pepper and nothing else. I called the restaurant and spoke to the owner aka the person who made the chaat and he basically said I don't need to come back and he doesn't need me as a customer. Telling me he made it himself and not listening to a single thing I had to say. Infact he kept speaking over me. I will never go back to this place again where they treat their customers with such disrespect. The only reason why I went in the first place was to give them a try since it use to be Doaba sweets and their food was so good and they were so sweet and treated their customers with respect. These new owners have no idea how to take positive criticism and treat their customers like trash, just like their food
Worst Chhole bhature and stuffed parantha. Bhature were like PAPAD. Not in a good condition to eat - VERY OILY. Raita was EXTREMELY SALTY. Parantha was not stuffed properly. Not satisfied. Would have rated 0 - if given an option here.
Are you looking for some delicious, authentic North Indian fare? Especially some piping hot sarson ka saag and makke ki roti or those pillowy soft kulcha with chana? @doabasweets is the place to be.. A very basic place serving fresh North Indian food to tantalize your tastebuds!
I liked food. Noodles were vid very very less vegetables, it was cooked primarily in chilly garlic sauce. Taste was very Indian that’s why I liked it. I would recommend to ask for some vegetables while ordering noodles. Chhole poori was ok ok. Chhole was not up-to the mark. Carrot pickle was amazing.
Decent place to go for Indian food. Isn't too expensive but isn't super nice either. You get what you pay for. The food is great.
Worst customer service i have ever seen. And slowest restaurant i have ever been to. We ordered 24 stuffed pranthas at 12.30pm on Saturday 26 June. It took them 1 hour and 45 mins to make it. When i placed my order they told us it would take 1 hours. They made me wait another 30 mins when i got there 1 hour 15 mins after placing my order. Never ever going back. Avoid such places that don't value your time.
I don't how can there be a place like this. Rude lady at the counter. Don't know how to greet and talk or take order. Better stay away from this place. Food is not even worth looking you can see the hair in food. It not one star there is no star for anything. Too bad experience.
