Safeway Heritage

No matter I go, Safeway is one of my favorite grocery store. This store is very clean, bright, everything I need I can find them easily. I like the sign they made for “back to school” kids. Very friendly staffs.

KADI THE THE CASHIER , is absolutely miserable. She asked me how many paper bags.I said about five and she punched in eighteen. She is ignorant beyond all belief. Over three hundred in groceries, and she piled them up and waited for me to start bagging. So I waited for her. Finally when she started, she put bread underneath all the cans and on and on and on, and she was throwing the groceries in the bag.nNot as to draw attention to herself, but just enough to let her know she was giving it to me because I would not do the work for her. She is a deliberate miserable person that has no business in customer service situations . I live in terwillier area and make the drive to this safeway For other reasons. But she is enough to discourage anyone from wanting to shop here. I truly felt this was a racist situation. If I wanted that kind of attitude kadi I would shop at the wholesale club and save myself some money in the process. I really hope safeway does something about this woman. I will be back in six months. And if she's still working there, I will have something to say to the manager before I leave again. You're only saving grace , kadi , is that the whole world is slowly becoming just like you. And sadly , one customer really doesn't make a difference These days!!! What really sucks is safeway was built on the concept that one customer did make a difference. I can't believe numerous employees just continued to walk by a line up of over ten people watching her act The way she was with her little temper Tantrum. i remained polite the whole time Thinking that she might run out of steam and realize how she was treating people, But she didn't care from beginning to end. safeway has no problem with this at all. Safeway just became the bottom of my shopping list. The young fellow in the bakery though, was amazing.And helpful and all the other employees seemed reasonable. It's a shame that they put a woman like this in that position where she's unavoidable. It makes everyone else's effort worthless . Please do something about this woman. She needs to be fired !!! Another thing there is no replies to any of the reviews for this store.They really just don't seem to care . Another reason why other stores can charge more. And I feel safeway charges too much. If I want a third world shopping experience, I expect third world prices.

Meat department staff are amazing. They take the time to acknowledge you, answer your questions and get the perfect cut of meat for you. This is now my favorite Safeway to shop at because of the customer service we have received.

This is my neighborhood grocery store, but I am unable to afford the produce here. They have a lovely bakery and meats section, and I come to shop the sales every week. But the price is the highest in our area by far. Have been driving to H&W for produce and Freshco for staple items.nThe staff are very nice though!

Some experiences in life are so profound that they are meant to be shared. My experience meeting Cole at Heritage Safeway tonight is exactly one of those experiences! In a world where manners are often forgotten, politeness a rarity, and kindness non existent , Cole exemplifies these beautiful qualities and is an example of all that is good in human nature.nnWhile shopping tonight I noticed a stack of empty boxes neatly piled in the produce department. A family friend has a very large garden and needs boxes to donate produce to the food bank.nNearby I found a young man busy in a task, and I interrupted him to ask if it would be possible to have some of the boxes. With a big smile, he replied yes ma’am, and said let me just get those for you. When I went to explain what I wanted them for, he said ma’am it’s ok you don’t need to tell me what you’d like the boxes for. He continued on to tell me that he would have the boxes ready for me at the front of the registers when I was done shopping, and he’d help me take them to my car.nnBy the time I was ready to go to my car, a hard rainfall had started and turned into a torrential down pour. I explained to Cole that I didn’t want to get wet, and got distracted with natures display of lightening, thunder and the downpour of rain. Minutes later I saw this young man walking back towards the building from his car where he had his jacket. I hadn’t noticed him leave. He stood quietly for a few moments, then said ma’am can I offer you my jacket so you don’t get wet.nnCole, it’s men like you that renew my faith in goodness, kindness and humanity! Safeway you have a new and devoted customer.
