Safeway Fleetwood

Good prices and good selection of groceries. The deli section they have also contains very delicious selection of sandwiches and meats. Also, if you ask the employees in the deli section you can have them make your own large custom sub style sandwich on the spot. nevertheless, I do wish Safeway would implement at least 2-4 self checkout registers though. As I feel it would make it faster to checkout when I only have a small amount of items.

Great deli and cakes. Flowers were fresh as can be. Coffee at Starbucks was kind of old but it does not have to do anything with Safeway. Starbucks employee felt like they had a bad night without sleep studying for an exam. High end coffee shops must have active and cheerful employees rather than international students working there to make ends meet.

Voila online order pickup. Missed a few items but the picker was super friendly and the meats were fresh. Items out of stock he picked great substitutes. Delivered to my car win 2 minutes. Voila refunded the missing items.

I am rating based on my first time experience of purchasing food from the deli section. The food was Chinese food, about 20$ which was fine until I brought it home, the rice was rotten. Just shocked for a company like Safeway would serve and sell rotten food. Had to throw it out, as safeway was closed already. Shocking a such a big well established company would have rotten food. I guess only I Surrey all these survives just sucks. Next time will go to save on instead. Cross fingers

A good and average Safeway. Good selection and has all the basics in stock. As a pedestrian, the parking lot can be a little too dark at night or when it’s rainy.

The place was well stocked, they looked short staff, but staff was still trying there best to help. Great customer service.

I bought these chips a couple days ago not checking the expiration date unfortunately. I know most people double check before buying, but just posting as a reminder to make sure you always do. I got these from the chips aisle so it sucks they would put out food that already expired.

The selection of groceries is great. The cashier was a little standoffish. Not sure why. Did not care for the attitude. She was not wearing a name tag.

I would not recommend. I bought cheese buns, muffins and scones from the bakery and they where dry and very over cooked. The scones were awful. I threw out 3 of the 4 out and didn't finish the one I tried. The cheese buns where so dry.
