French woman speaking - I absolutely loved everything about the placenI had the mussels and shrimp as appetizers the sauces were exceptional, I had the seafood linguini perfectly al dente, lots of seafood contents and variety, tasted exceptionalnI really thought I would “have the chef” on the dessert, but the lemon honey crème brûlé was so original and light and savoury.nI don’t know what else to add but I highly recommend that local place. Awesome quality food for a very good price.nKuddos to the young chef and team.
Right when I got there I accidentally broke a glass full of root beer which was delicious BTW and spilled it all over myself but my wonderful waitress Julia helped me clean it all up and was so sweet about it. Wonderful place!
Clearly a local favourite! Tiny parking lot with no easy alternative parking on a busy corner. Although heavy on batter, Fish and Chips tasty, but found slaw be bland. Niciose Salad an interesting combo of flavours and textures, but disappointed the seared ahi was clearly pre-made. Fried chick peas weren’t crispy but green beans were perfect. Great beer selection.
First time at this Restaurant, shared 2 appetizers , the Fire Cracker Shrimp and the Calamari. Both were cooked very well and not overcooked which is easy to do with these 2 items. Also had the Fish and Chips , home cut fries and lightly battered fish , was very good, coleslaw was very bland. Overall 4 /5 for this establishment .
This would have been a five-star rating if we hadn't come back for the second meal. We first ate here on a Wednesday evening. There were many interesting menu items. I was surprised that the haddock was fresh not frozen so we tried the fish and chips and ordered a side of broccolini and carrot puree. The fish was amazingly fresh, cooked just right, the fries were enjoyable. Even the coleslaw was good. Since we had intended to order the Arctic Char and ended up with fish and chips, we came back on Friday to tried the Arctic Char. Unfortunately, they were all sold out. And since the fresh haddock was great, we ordered that again. But the second time around, we might as well have been in a totally different restaurant. The fish was very over cooked to the point of being tough, even the fries were wooden and overcooked. So, now, this place is a hit and miss thing for us. Well, definitely, we won't come on a Friday.
