Lazy Gecko The

A great spot for some middle of the road Mexican food after a long hike. Nothing bad about the place. Service was great. Margaritas were great too. Charging what they do for chips and salsa when the chips are quite obviously from a bag and salsa that wasn’t special, not cool. If chip’s and salsa aren’t free at a spot like this, they should be house made. The slightly above average food was northwest-mex in style and flavor. Overall, a decent, three star Mexican joint.

A very enjoyable working lunch sitting at the bar. Good service and attention by the server. Flavours of my Enchilada Verdes with Chicken were delicious. A little heat that complimented the dish well. Flavourful rice pilaf - or similar.

A wonderful taste of Mexico, in the heart of Sooke! With GREAT food! Celiac friendly and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Nachos absolutely loaded with fresh toppings, and a menu to make you drool!!!! Edit! I came back to dine in and take some pics! Heaven

This is one of my favorite spots in Sooke due to the amazing patio and view, the food and the staff. The food is incredibly reasonably priced as well which is a huge win considering how tasty it is

Our first visit to the Lazy Gecko was an absolute 10/10!! The service was quick and friendly thank you Jacob! We ordered a Pollo burrito and Beef burrito bowl and both were delicious! Good prices and portions. $40 for lunch for two, definitely worth checking out! We'll be back for sure! Looks like they do take out as well! :
