I grew up very close to here as a child and I still try and find some time to go for a stroll when it's nice outside.

The Rouge Valley Park is perfect for beginners or hikers who have a busy day and would love to squeeze in a hike in a luscious green environment that makes you forget you are in a city. It's excellent for children and the main gravel paths are clean or for family walks or there are more rugged trails that are not maintained by the park. The park is also used regularly by avid cyclists who are usually courteous and respectful of pedestrians but take caution and stay to the right! And bikers please announce your advance to any walking groups who may be startled or hurt by getting in the way. Always be safe!!

Great walking trails, nature conscious residents and users of the park, kept clean and so far is nearly free of pollution.
