I called for an emergency service- sewage back up in my basement, at 2:00 pm.I was told someone would be at my residence between 6:00-10:00pm. Then I get a call at 5:22pm, didn't reach phone in time. I call the number back at 5:24pm-it was a dispatch in Fort Wayne In.!!! I live in Illinois. I then Call back the original rooter rooter number I called initially, they send me to dispatch. They tell me the technician had moved on and the next available one would be assigned to me. An hour and half later I call to get an update and am told there probably won't be anyone out today but maybe someone would make it to my residence between 1:00- 4:00pm the next day. Would not recommend for emergency services, I was given misleading information and false assurances that someone would be available and the customer service was lacking.

Long story short, I've been in my house for 7 years now and we have a lot of little plumbing issues. I've tried to take care of what I can but once in a great while we get a major back up. This is where we end up calling Roto-Rooter. This time we got Manny #1916. Manny was polite and straight to the point. I showed him the clogged sinks and he got to work. The only complaint I have is with the price. It's higher than most but it comes down a little when you add on discounts and coupons. Manny was on point and helpful. Overall I'm happy.

I called requesting an estimate for a slow draining sewer main. Long story short, the technician came out and told me that the cost to clear a main was a $469 flat rate (almost double other estimates I got). He didn't look at anything, just said $469 flat rate. The explanation as to why I couldn't have gotten that estimate over the phone was a more or less a non-answer indicative of a poorly run company. Other than that, my interaction with the dispatcher was friendly and professional. The technician was not trying to push anything on me. However, given the well above market rate for the service, I declined.

We called on Saturday night after we were unable to get our only tub/shower drain flowing. We were told they would be there between 12 and 2 the next day. They were late, but we were called and informed that they were running behind so we didn't mind. When they got there we were notified that our pipe had a leak and that they would need to call out someone who replaced pipes (little did I know that there was a difference). They told us someone would come out that day. Well they did not. We were called and told that they wouldn't be able to make it out until Monday night. I guess emergency service means something different to everyone. Oh well. When Ricky showed up the next day he was amazing! He was in and out (a run to the store for parts included) in less than 2 hours. The price was very reasonable and he was super friendly. Plus we have a one year guarentee, I can't complain! I will definately use them again.

This can't be real. I called this company again I don't know what was I thinking to give them a second chance. We called yesterday to set up for today and guess what they told your tech will be there between 10-12 next day which is TODAY 08/21/14 and at 11:15 am this morning they called me and told me that he will be late again which happen same bs last time I called and set this up. Last time was 2 days oh sir we running late will call you when he's done with the work is doing right now I guess that work was 48 hours I truly think this company is the worst of the worst I've ever deal with. I can't even think why I even try to give them a second chance but I thought everyone deserves a second chance but they just can't get right WOW. The funy thing is they will call you after they messed up and tell you sir we are very very sorry about all this after you waste your day. So here we go people our neighbor company KEEP WAITING THEY WILL COME ONE DAY OR EVENTUALLY
