I have been using Amy's Plumbing for a few years now. The technicians, that have been to my house, have all been friendly, on time (if not early) and explain everything to you. I am on one of Amy's plans and had my furnace cleaned and checked today. The technician Scott, that came out today, was EXTREMELY helpful with some other issues, that he noticed that I am going to have down the road. He explained what could happen and the steps that I will need to take to correct the issues. Being a single mother of 3 boys, it was not in my budget to have these items taken care of today, or in the very near future, but will need to address them soon. He gave me some excellent suggestions, to use until I can afford the repairs that I will need and which ones to address first and what to watch out for.

I found Amy Home Services thru my Mortgage broker. Another service wanted $2500.00 to dig up my sewer line. I called them and they sent out a technician name A. He put a camera down the line, saw a clog, released it, told me to quit using any toilet papet except Scotts bid roll, suggested for septics, but great for sewers...saved me thousands! Since, they replaced a hot water heater, installed an AC, made an emergency visit for my furnace, replaced a hose bib. Call them! Excellent service, best prices.

Well I am so happy with Amy Home Services. I came home Christmas Night to the Beep beep beep of the CO detector. It wasn't the battery but the actual unit. I was at a loss, and called Amy. Sure enough the very next day they were out and replaced all the units. I am so grateful for the peace and quiet now and the education of expiration of these units. Thank you , you sure did "make me smile"

It used to be a good company. Now all they care about is trying to manipulate you into buying things you don't need. They don't care about what is best for the customer.

-10 stars is more fitting for Amy's. Contacted Amy's to have a dryer vent cleaned out. Told them the dryer vent was on the roof of the 2nd floor and my tenant would be home to meet them. The appoint was made and to my surprise they were a no show. My tenants contacted Amy's and they rescheduled for the 2nd time. They also confirmed with Oscar the scope of the work that the duct needing cleaning was on the 2nd floor roof and a long ladder was required. Oscar assured them that this is something they do all the time and there is no concern. The representative from Amy's arrived and said he could not do the work because it was a 2 man job to go on the roof (even though I told them it was on the roof as part of the scheduling) and he said is would be $945.00 to clean the dryer vent and a $79.00 service fee. I asked him if he was insane to expect me to pay over $1K to clean out at vent and asked him to leave. A week later I received an invoice for the service fee. I contacted Amy's again and spoke to Ocsar. He was so unprofessional and we ended up in a shouting match. He said he recorded the initial conversation (which is illegal) and that I had to pay the service fee even though his team was not prepared to complete the job. I had to contact the owner to get resolution to this matter. He understood the issue and credited the service fee. Seriously who could charge over $1K to clean a dryer vent??? Don't waste your time with this company !!!!
